Had burgers with friends last Friday evening. We all had burgers with fries. Food decent but not remarkable...until I was up at 1am sitting on the pot for a few hours, talked to my friends in the morning, stomach ache, feeling crappy, had the runs. The common denominator was eating here. Not sure what is going on however we are collectively sure our issues were from eating here. No compelling reason to make a return visit. May file a health department complaint, still pondering. My first and last time here and not the first time hearing that someone had my experience.

The Shake Shack in Carlsbad is a great spot for families. It’s kid friendly with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff are always super friendly and welcoming. The food is always fresh and the shakes are absolutely delicious! It’s located on a pretty busy intersection, but the weather here is usually so nice that outdoor seating is perfect. A great place to relax and enjoy a good meal

Ordered Shake Shack for delivery. The food itself was fine, but it showed up with no utensils, napkins, or condiments—not even ketchup for the fries. It was literally just a burger and a bag of plain fries in the bag. Pretty disappointing presentation for delivery.

It can be quite loud inside and the AC makes it for a cold seating. I would say its pricey for small portions but it does taste good.
