Highly recommend checking out themed events at Sweet Rosemary. I attended the Harry Potter Tea and Trivia event with some friends. We had a really enjoyable time. There was a generous amount of food offered for the High tea, four courses total. I’ve attended many high teas and it did not disappoint. The drink offerings were spot on. An assortment of teas, pumpkin juice and of course butter beer. The decorations and music really set the mood. The trivia presenter Alexandria was fantastic. Very personable with great questions. I would highly recommend trying out the next event hosted here.

Attended a Harry Potter afternoon tea of magic. The decor, food and atmosphere was amazing. A perfect afternoon with my know it all daughter (and Harry Potter fan)! The trivia is super entertaining. I’m just here for the tea and the food and it did not disappoint!!!

Came here for a Harry Potter high tea event. Had amazing details in the decorations and food. So many tasty food! Only problem- so many foods that I couldn’t eat them all!

Unless you want to eat a cake as dry as sand, with frosting decorating skills surely a middle schooler could’ve accomplished, and have your requests for both flavor and design completely ignored, I do not recommend this bakery.
I will give her points for correctly spelling “happy birthday”, though she forgot to add the name of the person who’s birthday it was.

The 5 biggest things she did wrong:
1. We asked for a design with mountains and berries, with little to no floral. She piped on what vaguely resembles flowers, and nothing else.
2. We asked for yellow cake, and made sure to clarify that we didn’t want white. It wasn’t until we had paid for and cut the cake that we found out she gave us white.
3. I’ve experienced bad service before, but this was a whole other level. She was annoyed by any sort of questions about what flavors or designs she offers. She brought out a notepad to take down our order, and then only wrote the words “happy birthday” on it despite any ideas we attempted to collaborate with her on. (This explains why we were given the most generic birthday cake design possible). She also glared, scoffed, snipped and rolled her eyes constantly throughout our brief exchange.
4. I don’t think a drier cake exists on this planet. We tried eating it frozen, adding milk to moisten it, warming it up, every trick the internet and us could think of. Absolutely nothing worked.
5. We spent 48 dollars for a tiny cake, and she didn’t even write the name we gave her on it, or use any of the colors we picked out.

I have never written a review before, and never thought I’d ever in a million years leave 1 star. It would be one thing if she was pleasant, and she tried. But the cake she gave us looked nothing like the cakes she posts online, and the service was frankly abysmal. For your own sake, I would recommend the Stater Brothers down the road. (Or if you want an exemplary cake, Nothing Bundt Cakes does an amazing job- with good service).

this is most amazing place and ran by the most amazing people!! it’s a gem😍😍 all the food is incredible made from scratch- you can taste the love in it 😍😍 you will not be disappointed

What a fabulous gem of a place in Carlsbad, CA! I have been going to Christine for years for my event desserts and even my wedding cupcakes! I'm so happy she opened her new location, a chic tea room to enjoy her many delicious specialties including, cheesecakes, muffins, cupcakes and my favorite sourdough chocolate chip cookies! Such a cute place to have a coffee and scone or to order desserts for your special event.

They have the most delicious baked goods and pastries.
you need to run not walk and go visit this amazing bakery.

Amazing new bakery! Lots of great homemade treats and a beautiful space to enjoy them in.

The connected flower shop makes for an amazing scene, so gents your weekend date plans are set!
