The taste is different, not in a bad way. With so much chicken options it is a nice kick to the taste buds. The sauce options are an explosion. One of the 4 has your traditional chicken figure taste but still unique and not a copy. The other 3 are very unique and worth the try. Chicken can be eaten plain, like popcorn chicken from other places. Only negative is the hours of operation but I understand for the area. Surf Up Chicken is known for its amazing, crispy, and juicy fried chicken, described as the best by many. The quality is immediately noticeable. Guests love the variety of sauces, especially the sweet and sour sauce. Menu highlights include a standout chicken sandwich, a shrimp and chicken entree, and sides like nicely seasoned broccoli, chilled greens, amazing egg rolls, and spaghetti that pairs well with the chicken. Portion sizes are incredible and the price is nice, reasonable, and a great value. The place is cool and very clean inside, with quick service and a welcoming atmosphere from the nice employees. Service is personalized and done with care. Seating and hours were limited but have been extended. It is a highly recommended spot to visit.
