Pretty good fish and chips. Chicken sandwich had the thinnest bit of chicken I've ever seen. Pleasant live music on a beautiful sunny day.

We went to Landings to see band: Custard Pie, who did Led Zep and Stones tribute. The band was lots of fun, and all the musicians were talented and entertaining. This club's dance floor really rocks! There are a good amount of nice people and good looking women. People seem to come here to really have a good time! We sure did. We kept saying, if the band plays a song we don't like we will leave, but the band never played any songs we didn't love. Would go see them again.

Not that great with the expetation of $30 per person and the food is sub-standard. Tacos were awful. Onion rings were served - cold. Weak service, couldn't get refills or sauces- - not returning with a reservation!

The ambiance here is great. The food is only OK (my pancakes were way overcooked, hard, my husband's omelet was only OK) and the service was good except they didn't give anyone knives. We had to ask. But the outside is really nice.

For years, The Landing has as been our go-to Easter and Mother's Day brunch dining choice -- NEVER AGAIN! From the time we got there everything was sub-standard. From not having a hostess at the front door on Easter (we had to look for someone to seat us at our reserved table), to the waitress deleting our first drink order and bringing our ICE COLD FOOD out one plate at a time - all at different times - and never bringing our second order of drinks out at all. Our server was clueless and never even tried to right the ship, The table next to us had the same experience. No manager was on site (or so I was told). The only thing that made this horrible dining experience bearable was the live music (thank God there was that!). After two hours we left there without eating and very frustrated. I am so sad that this Carlsbad hidden gem is not the place it used to be. With service and food like we got yesterday, they won't be open much longer... They did take the food portion off our check but as far as we were concerned, it was too little too late -- and too late to find another restaurant that could seat a party of six with no reservations.
