I’ve been a regular customer of Veggie Grill in Carlsbad—until today. While eating my burger, I found something absolutely disgusting: a fingernail inside my food. I was in shock. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety in their kitchen.
I can’t believe this happened, and needless to say, I will never order from this place again. I used to really enjoy their food, but after this experience, I’ve completely lost trust in how they handle their meals. I hope they take this seriously and improve their standards before something worse happens to someone else.

I sometimes can’t believe how kind and respectful the employees are at this location. They already had me with the amazing food…and the rest is such a pleasant surprise.

I’ve been going to this location for years and it’s only gotten better. The menu keeps evolving in the best way possible and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Hope Veggie Grill opens another location in central San Diego like their UTC location before.

Veggie grill is a reliable chain with tons of options. Their burgers are delicious and their seasonal items are always fun to try! I still think about the pulled Pork sandwich from like 5 years ago, really wish that would make a comeback!

I had a Korean bowl and it was great. Didn’t know vegetarian food could taste like this.
Will have to incorporate this food in my diet more often.

I always love Veggie Grill! I was thrilled to see one right next to Legoland. They’ve added smoothies. Even though almost the entire menu has changed, we still liked it and the pesto chicken parm was great.

The service is great and quick! The thing is veggie grill is just is not what I remember it to be anymore. The santa fe burger is ok if you enjoy bland food. The sweet potato fries are deep fried probably 2-3 different times. Idk just not worth the price.
