Great food and service. TVs for watching sports. Good atmosphere
Great atmosphere server provided free sampler flights. Also server made great suggestions on beers.Food was also excellent.
An app I use found this place and calculates calories from photos. The mac and cheese fit my remaining calories and had plenty of bacon protein. It tasted good. The outdoor seating area is nice.

Karl Strauss Brewing Company offers a great dining experience with a variety of food options to complement their excellent beer selection. The outdoor seating area, complete with heat lamps, provides a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. The service is generally top-notch, with friendly staff like Luna, who is known for providing some of the best service and making customers feel welcome. While some issues may arise, such as delays in taking drink orders or the restaurant being busy, the overall atmosphere remains welcoming and inviting. The Sorrento Valley location, complete with a koi pond, is a particular highlight. Many customers appreciate the well-flavored food and good portions, especially the Mac, which is a favorite for some. Recent reviews mention rising prices, making it a bit pricey for some diners, especially for salads and burgers. Overall, many find the food, drinks, and vibe to be very good, making Karl Strauss Brewing Company a solid choice for a meal and a beer, though diners should be prepared for the cost.
