We ate at Giaola last Sunday for the first time and will be our last time. We ordered drinks and received each one separately. I ordered a Margarita with no salt, I am on a salt restricted diet. It was obvious the bartender made the drink with salt on the rim and then just tried to wipe it off. There was still some salt on the rim. We were a party of 4 at a small table. My wife and I ordered 2 appetizers, a Caesar salad that we wanted split and our entrée. Our friends ordered a Caesar salad that they wanted split and 2 entrées. All the food came at once and the Caesar salads were not split which they took back and split. They did not course out the appetizer, salads and entrées. It was like eating at a fast food restaurant. Since the table was so small, when they placed the food on the table, some of the dishes were hanging out over the edge. Their web page calls it, “…modern fine dining.” It also states, “Giaola Italian Kitchen offers patrons superb dining…” If it was fine dining the appetizer, salad and entrées would be coursed out without having to request it. I guess this is what they call modern fine dining. The service was slow and the food was mediocre. The check did contain the statement, “A 4% surcharge has been added to offset the California minimum wage.” Nice!

I would normally keep a negative review to myself but the disappointment from tonight has led me to this review. First off, I want to acknowledge that although the restaurant was understaffed and service suffered because of it, the staff was kind and did their best given the circumstances. Our drinks were enjoyable but lacked in alcohol. The ribs were dry and underwhelming. The Mac and cheese was comparable to a microwave dinner but I am sure kids would have enjoyed it. The brisket sandwich fell short as it was a basically a bun with coleslaw, not sure if this was a mistake on the kitchen but it was a let down and not what you anticipate from a BBQ restaurant. French fries were bland but again, a good option for kids. The one positive that we did have was the spinach and artichoke dip, for an appetizer it was great. For a $90 meal I am sad to say that we are likely not willing to give this restaurant another chance to see if it is a better experience.

Fantastic! I ordered the filet, Mac and cheese and tried the Brussel sprouts. were amazing! My buddy had the tri tip and he enjoyed it too. Great service. Price was right. Parking is terrible. That's the only negative.

Had a good experience tonight at WR. Caught happy hour at the bar on a Friday night so that was surprising. We shared the Buffalo cauliflower which was fantastic. Also ordered the salmon tacos and the tri tip with brussel sprouts. Finished the meal with the butter cake. All in all it was a solid meal. Didn't wow for 5 stars but was a good experience.

Parking sucks We got here before it opened & parking lot was full. Love the decor and atmosphere. Light, bright, open and clean. We sat outside which was nice. Lots of big patio tables with covered seating. Everyone liked their meals. Went with a friend and her kids. Our family is vegan, wish they had more options for us all but their fries, regular and sweet potato were yummy. One kid got the veg burger and she said it was great. The salsa, guacamole and chips were surprisingly delicious. They refilled the chips because they always seem to run out before the guacamole and salsa! Waitress seemed attentive... We would come back

First time here. Brought out dog. They have a nice but open outside area. Very well thought out. They have covering for heat and cold. Was perfect. I had the Salmon with mashed potatoes. Excellent. My MIL had had brisket salad. She said it was very good. These garlic rolls they bring out! To die for!!! Amazing!!!

I love the food. I have had great service while dining in and friendly pickup staff. This was my COVID go to and always the food if we had family visit. Tonight I was not wanted to drive so I tried DOORDASH and the order was cancelled over a glitch between the restaurant and DOORDASH. Long story short, work directly with WR Kitchen and you will be very pleased.
I loved the atmosphere here and the staff were extremely nice and friendly and the food especially the burgers were amazing! Would highly recommend!!

Love wood ranch. First time at this location. Party of four had baby backs, burgers and a couple of salads. All were really good. Sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. Draft beer selection was ok. Service was excellent as well. Will be back soon.

I am SUPER excited about WR Kitchen & Bar! We have been wanting to pop in but were derailed because of covid. Today we finally gave it a go! We were happily greeted and led to our comfy booth right in the center of the indoor seating area. It's bright and light and full of life! Trendy and cute, with great accents. Our server Makenna was a breath of fresh air and made our day with her sweet energy. We love the other Wood Ranch locations and weren't quite sure what to expect from the menu here, but were pleasantly surprised! There is a great mix of BBQ favorites as well as some excellent salads and sandwiches. My hubby was all about the brisket from the get-go. I chose the salmon tacos. We both enjoyed the fluffy, garlic rolls Makenna brought us. Then....what a fun surprise! Makenna brought us an order of Buffalo cauliflower that must've been a mix up order. I've always wanted to try them and WOW! They were AWESOME! I could eat them all day long! I loved the crunchy, crisp breading and wing sauce and dip.....cravable 100%!!! The brisket and mashed potatoes got a thumbs up and the salmon tacos were delightful! I will absolutely order them again! We so very much enjoyed our lunch today! Thank you SO MUCH AGAIN MAKENNA!!! We went to WR, for lunch, on July 4th. We ordered the tri-tip and pulled pork street taco's. Both came with chips and salsa. The meat on both taco's was very juicy and tender. Both came with a bright sauce topping. We really enjoyed them! Fresh and delicious!The service was friendly and knowledgeable.Their menu offers a variety of options.

Nice and clean atmosphere, decent service but they lack the main selling point; THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE!I was super hungry and went with the cheeseburger. It's hard to mess up a burger but they did it. Flavor of natural gas & propane masked with sweet onion. All flimsy patties and a thin slice of butter lettuce. A $14 mistake I'll never repeat. Too bad because seems like it could have been a go-to. Permanently removed from my restaurant list.
