Carmel Bakery has delicious pastries and great coffee! The latte was smooth and flavorful, and the pastries were fresh and tasty. However, the place was very crowded, with a long line and limited seating inside, making it a bit challenging to enjoy the experience fully. Still, it’s worth a stop for a quick treat while exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea!
Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to hot peppers or any hot spices. Therefore, I request a meal with none of those ingredients; my food still had jalapeños but they were so promptly to get me the order.
The lobster tail pastry is the must get item. After that it would be the macaroons. I've been to this bakery many times over the past year so my recommendations are from trying lots of different things. They used to also have the best ice cream, but replaced that with Gelato that I've never tried.
Prepare to get messy eating the lobster tail, but it's worth it!
