We had 8, including 2 marathon runners and we were taken great care of! service was great and it was suggested to us to try the “basket” and it was amazing!! Fed all of us and was an awesome way to try a little bit of everything. Their portions looked huge and their ingredients tasted great and clean. Music was a bit loud for lunch time but that's it! Will be back next time we are in Carmel!

Great food and good service. We ate early before a show so not crowded. Worried that the single server would be overwhelmed as the guests started to arrive (which they did as we were leaving) but we'll be back!

What a gem in Carmel - it seems that after a certain point every local in town arrives for wonderful food, drinks, atmosphere and especially the hospitality! Thanks Dexter and Jacob - I even came back for a second night it was so good and fun.

When I arrived the restaurant wasn't open. I was told it wouldn't open until 5pm. I had a 3:25 reservation confirmed from Open Table.

The salad was not good. Service was not great. They need more help. Had to ask 3-4 times for things. Someone recommended this place so maybe I'll give them another try.

My experience at this restaurant was unfortunately disappointing. To start, it took 50 minutes just to receive our appetizer, which set the tone for the rest of the evening. The Balinese fried chicken, which I was excited to try, turned out to be dry, stringy, and ultimately underwhelming in flavor.

The service was painfully slow, though it was clear this was due to the restaurant being severely understaffed. There was only one waiter managing the entire floor, and while they were clearly overworked, they remained kind, patient, and professional throughout the ordeal.

I can’t fault the staff member who was trying their best, but the management needs to address the staffing issue and improve the quality of the food if they want to keep customers coming back. For now, I won’t be returning.

We waited for our food to be brought to us for an hour and a half. Every time we asked about the waiting time, we were given the standard answer: I'm going to get your food right now. As a result, instead of a non-spicy dish, they brought a spicy one with pieces of pepper and assured us that it was not spicy. To be fair, the other dishes were tasty, but the service left an unpleasant impression of the visit. They included a 20% tip in the bill and refused to remove it, which is outrageous given that level of service.

I made reservations over a month in advance for a special evening to celebrate my wife's birthday at this restaurant. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disaster. Upon arrival, we were left waiting for over 30 minutes without any service or acknowledgment from the staff. To make matters worse, they asked us to sit outside on the street as if we hadn't booked ahead. This was supposed to be a special night, and it was ruined due to the restaurant's utter lack of professionalism and care for their customers. It’s extremely disappointing that such a highly-rated establishment treated us this way, especially when this is the only time in the year I can take my wife out for a nice evening. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly high-class expeiance

Service was so slow. Bright TV playing sports ruins vibes. Food not worth it.

We loved it!! Went tonight and shared the Chef’s Basket! 7 to 10 of their top entrées and every one was sensational! Give this a try!

The food is very good but overpriced.

Definitely recommend the Lumpia. You don't taste any beef and it's a very small portion, but very tasty. The sauces make the dish.

The soup of the day was Ginger and was too spicey. Excellent soup with prawns otherwise.

The Marinated Duork Pork Belly was very good. A lot of fat on it though resulting in little meat. Vegetables were fresh and very good. Fried rice was basic.

Overall the food is very good but it's just not worth the price to me.

We made reservations, but they weren't needed as we were the only customers eating for the first hour and a half.

Live music was open mic night and he was very good, but too loud.

The staff was friendly and pretty attentive.

It was obvious the bathroom had not been cleaned from the day before.

We booked for lunch. The restaurant wasn't open. Their website said they'd be open for Saturday lunch. OpenTable let me make the reservation. But nope. They weren't open.

Kare kare was good but a bit tough. Peanut sauce with garlic and wine was a good combo. Soup of the day was a bit spicy and could've taken it down a bit. Staff was somewhat attentive. Understaffed as people were sitting themselves. Took a while to get our wine and staff's attention. Looked like the owners / people in charge were enjoying themselves entertaining their guests at the bar.

We went on a Thursday night and the restaurant was about 3/4 full. They had live music with a woman who was pretty good at Alainas Morisette covers. We opted for their basket for two, which is a chef's choice ensemble including appetizers, salad, main courses, and both White and fried rice. The price was not mentioned when we ordered or on the menu - it was $75 per person.
Our basket included two kinds of fried rolls, green salad, prime rib, salmon, fried Chicken, prawns and the aforementioned and fried rice.

Everything was hot and fresh and it was a lot of food for two people. The two dishes that stood out most were the shrimp and the fried chicken. The steak had a little bit more gristle and fat than we cared for. Everything else in the basket was solid and good - if I did it again I would just order the basket but have chef include something other than steak.
After dinner, the waiter asked us if we wanted dessert and we said we were full. He brought us a couple of scoops of their ube ice cream on the House center was good and quite purple.
With one drink each, including the meal tax and tip. The total bill came out by $240 so it was not an inexpensive meal by any means. The waiter encouraged us to stay as long as we'd like and listen to the live music. The staff is nice and the service was attentive.
