music and tapas style of food w its great garlic rice..I loved it. this place is a must try..I loved the lechon kawali .
Felt like a “new” restaurant. Minimal staff and place looks like they haven't finished decorating. Food was average at best. Like the reviews stated overpriced for sure. 2 people -no drinks or appetizers and we ordered a salad and paid over 100.00. Definitely better places to eat in Carmel...
The food was so good, a little unique and very well priced. The staff was friendly and service was quick! Glad we stopped in
We had a lovely birthday dinner and the food was delicious. They had the house musician sing happy birthday and served an ube ice cream with banana fritter dessert. The staff was helpful in navigating the menu and making recommendations. There was a small hiccup when we requested a cup of hot water and got a cup of brown liquid because the machine had tea residue in it but they fixed it right away. Thanks for a great evening!
Wonderful service. Owner was a sommelier and recommended a great wine reasonably priced. Great food. The oxtail with the anchovies paste- delicious! As were the prawns. Another favorite was the fried rice. Dessert was also yummy- both the shaved ice and fried banana. Agree that the Ube ice cream was delicious. Great ambiance and service!
We loved the yummy food and great atmosphere! There was a female singer named Isabelle last Saturday evening…and she was off the charts!
We found a cool Filipino restaurant while wandering Carmel town. What a pleasant surprise! 🇵🇭
The server is handsome too. Is he on the menu?
Restaurant opened 20 minutes late. One person was attempting to run the whole restaurant. There were half empty glasses and bottles from the prior night everywhere. Food looked good but tasted mediocre and was expensive.
I haven't really been impressed with Filipino fusion until I have dined here. We ordered the Ahi Tuna ceviche for our appetizer, and Kare-kare and Balinese chicken for our entrees. Our meal was both beautiful and delicious. Edwins is extremely clever in hinting to tradional Filipino and South East Asian cuisine, yet creating something completely new and, I can't find a better word for it--original. We finished our meal with Halo-halo which was just delightful. It was not busy when we got there, so I can't really tell how the service is at peak hours but our experience was pleasant and exceeded our expectations. I am happy to have another reason to visit Carmel!

The food tasted amazing cooked perfectly! Service was superb! The live music on Thursday's is a must!
Good food and great service. Limited pan Asian menu. Live music makes the place noisy but worth a try.
Had a reservation but according to the host, we couldn't be seated because a big party had come in. He told me he wasn't sure when our party of 6 could be seated. What's the point of reservations if they don't hold tables for the people who made them? I used to like this place but I feel like they haven't figured out how to manage their newfound popularity. We went up to Vesuvio where they were able to seat us right away.
our first visit to Edwin's Koana in sleepy Carmel. but Edwin's was not remotely sleepy...very busy, we were greeted by our very friendly Host (i forgot his name...my apologies) and seated at the bar by our (other name forgotten) bartender... Eventually seated at our table but embarked on a very fun and festive meal which we understand broke out to a dance party later! Kudos to Edwin, who greeted us at our table...
Open mic on Mondays has a great crowd and people are so nice.
