Everything was ...ok. nothing special. Had BBQ oysters.... Not bad but no where near the best around. The Crab & shrimp melt. Again ...not bad but disappointing. Pretty bland & uneventful. Caesar salad too. It too was ok but nothing to rave about. It was our first time there & while the food was ok we probably will try another spot next time. Service too was just ok..... Nothing special or overly efficient.
Service was vey good. Food was average. We had the mixed seafood platter and the result was mixed--some very fresh (the fish) and some not-so-much (the scallops). Price was right! Overall, we had a nice meal but would not necessarily recommend it.
Good seafood, especially my sand dabs. They accommodated my request for fries over the rice. Good option in Carmel.

Flaherty's Seafood Grill & Oyster Bar offers a variety of fresh seafood dishes, including oysters, crab melt, lobster roll, and fish & chips. The restaurant provides a broad menu with items such as Cioppino, jambalaya, and seafood pasta. While the service is generally friendly and efficient, it can be slow during busy times. Some dishes may be overcooked or under-seasoned, and customers may occasionally experience delays or unavailability of certain items. Despite these minor issues, the atmosphere is homey and welcoming. The Paella is highly recommended, and the oysters, although small, are still worth trying. Overall, Flaherty's offers a decent dining experience with good service and a comfortable environment, making it a place worth returning to.
