Had such a great dinner w/ family our first visit here that we decided to return the following day. Both were completely different experiences! Day 1: Rudis/Rudy was our server. Incredibly friendly & checked on us frequently. Bread was hot, oysters & entrees were great. Day 2: Sandra was our server. She came across very cold & ignored us the entire time (despite her boisterousness & frequent check-ins w/ other patrons). Uncertain why, but she seemed to be actively avoiding us....read full review
Both of us are allergic to gluten and although they were very accomodating, we were both made sick by our meal. If that hadnt happened, the restaurant would have been great.
They try to make your experience great. The food is good and it is large portions. We will go back again when in Carmel by the sea. The restaurant is very small and packed. That's the down side. But worth it because the food is good.
