Impeccable service and atmosphere. We walked in without a reservation and were welcomed in right away. Great wine list, reasonably priced. We had the branzino which was prepared with artichokes and shallots with a light sauce (very different, very delicious!) the Pistacio Mousse was a great dessert touch. Highly recommend!

We were at a table along the bench for two... quite crowded as we felt like we could. It talk to each other. They didn't bring bread or anything to table unless we asked. We ordered entrees and we didn't get asked if we wanted salad or anything... food was good but felt rushed and value was not the best...

Really good experience- great dinner, only downside you cannot bring in your own wine. No corkage service.

Very good food. Very over priced. $37 for a pasta plate, $30 for a salad. All wines are double or triple priced.

The prepped the food pretty fast. Salmon was big size and well prepped
Pasta size is a bit small( enough for one person only)

Good food and indeed the back patio has great vibes as it’s quiet, relaxed, and enjoyable for a birthday dinner. Service was excellent and everyone was lovely.
That said, it was also kind of hilarious how expensive everything turned out to be. The pasta of the day (fresh pasta with butter, mushrooms, and sausage) was $42 - rivaling the steak at $49 (a bit more expected). If we’d known, the price of the pasta of the day, we would have ordered differently.
They also suggest pre-calculated tip options based on the total (not the subtotal), and the choices were 18%, 25%, and 50% - the latter of which gave us a good laugh. We were definitely taken for a ride, but at least it was a delicious one.
I was a bit nervous going into this restaurant having read the reviews, and by the end of it, my husband pointed out that they were spot on.

I was craving some authentic Italian food and sure enough I found it here.

The calamari and shrimp appetizer was delicately fried and perfectly seasoned (especially the shrimp). And the fettuccini bolognese was very delicious and felt like I was right back in Italy.

Cool to see such an authentic place in the heart of Carmel.

A bit pricy of a spot, I did not care for the tomato sauce as it tasted like it was from a can and not enough seasoning to cut through the acidity of the tomato which made it taste cheaper than I’m sure it was. Great date night spot and friendly service but food was a let down especially at that price.

Place was really nice. Service was very friendly and welcoming. The food was good but definitely not worth the price with the portions given. Not bad but had better

This is an excellent, comfortable, friendly restaurant. Very sensitive to special needs (e.g., lactose intolerance, oyster allergy); allows calm dogs to sit with owners while eating at an outdoor patio. We have eaten there several times and at different times of day. The food has been wonderful every time.

I think the wine is overpriced. I think the food’s a bit overpriced too. Look at a few other menus around town And it looks that way to me. I thought the Osso Bucco was very good, especially if you like the mashed potatoes underneath instead of the polenta or risotto. The pizza had no taste. Surprised that an Italian restaurant charges for bread and a little bottle of olive oil.
