Stumbled upon this place after 8pm on a Thursday and couldn’t be happier! Phillippo was an amazing server - everything came quickly and the food was fresh, not overdone with the flavors and sooooo good. Atmosphere was spot on, food was great, coffee was Italian Perfection. Loved it

One of the best restaurants in Carmel, incredible menu, atmosphere, wine list and the hospitality is top notch. Don’t miss the Parma plate, the crab ravioli, the tiramisu and taking a look at the world renown wine list. One of the best dining experiences in Carmel. Do not miss! Thank you Enzo and your staff for always making us feel special!

The food at this place was fine, but the service was horrible! Our server was rude, rough around the edges, had no personality, and was very robotic. He rudely threw things like utensils on the table. One time he even placed utensils on top of my husband's eyeglasses that he put down on the table like he didn't see the eyeglasses there. He also spilled water on the table when he was refilling a water glass and just walked away like nothing happened. He didn't apologize or wipe the water off the table. I really felt like a robot was serving us. The food was good and tasty, but overpriced. My husband ordered the Branzino seabass which didn't come with anything but the artichoke sauce. You'd think that for the price of $44, it would at least come with a side of potato, pasta, or salad. We really liked the sauteed portobello mushrooms, but for an appetizer and the serving size, it was a bit overpriced. Also, before I made a reservation, I called the restaurant to ask if they have vegan options and I was told they did. Then earlier on the day of our dinner reservation, we went in the restaurant and asked again if they have vegan options, and I was told that they can make a vegan dish for me. But when we went back later for dinner, and I asked for vegan options, our server just flat out said "no" and that they didn't have anything vegan. So I told him that I was told that they can make a vegan dish for me and he said 'Okay" hesitantly. If you're vegan, do not come to this place because they don't have anything vegan and you'd have to personally ask them to make a vegan dish for you which is pasta with veggies and marinara sauce for $27. Needless to say, our experience with this place was not very positive or enjoyable, and I wouldn't come back.

We were told we could not have our own wine. Very disappointed! No where did I see that they didn't let you bring a bottle of wine when I booked the reservation. We Uber'ed to the restaurant, so I had to carry the bottle around for the rest of the night. Why Not??

In the very competitive Carmel dining market, ENZO rates just average. While high prices, especially for wines, are what you may expect in a very popular town, food quality and service does not make them overlooked. You may not expect waiters and helpers to be dressed up and casual is fine, but with limits.

Enzo's is a charming family run restaurant with very authentic southwestern Italian food. We started with a Magna Grecia salad. I had the veal piccata, and my husband had the rigatoni with sausage and burrata. The creme brulee for dessert was a must have. Everything was very fresh and delicious. I had been there before and remember the Carbonara was outstanding. They have an extensive list of fine Italian wines by the glass, and of course a regular wine list. Our server was from Calabria and I enjoyed talking with him about Italy.

Pizza was really good but the star here is the outstanding service. Our young waiter was attentive and friendly without disturbing our conversation. We had a table right next to the fireplace which was so lovely. They have a beautiful outdoor space in the back too. The restaurant is cozy and I would come back for sure.

We stopped in to rest for a bit and have a glass of wine before dinner. This spot is heavenly. Wonderful staff and service. Great wine and cheese! Romantic and cute place to grab a drink!

Very cute place in Carmel.Service was good, inviting and quick. They have a really cute outdoor patio and are dog friendly.Food was pretty tasty, though the portions are a big small for the price. That is the main reason for 4 stars.
