This is an excellent, comfortable, friendly restaurant. Very sensitive to special needs (e.g., lactose intolerance, oyster allergy); allows calm dogs to sit with owners while eating at an outdoor patio. We have eaten there several times and at different times of day. The food has been wonderful every time.
It was our first time visiting this restaurant. It was amazing. The service was attentive, we got excellent recommendations and everything was delicious. We started with the mussels appetizer. Incredible. The sauce was lemony and garlicky and perfect with the yummy bread. We split the four season pizza and the black truffle branzino. Both were amazing but the branzino was one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. Cooked to perfection and delicious. I highly recommend!!!!
If you want to experience Italy in Carmell, this is the place to go. Enzo and his staff are amazing. Friendly, warm and welcoming. The food and wine are excellent and bring you back to those long, warm summer nights in Italy. Note: Do not order a cappuccino or latte after dinner. ;-)
