Through no fault of Flaherty's...it was so loud! (There were 3 people at the bar having a very good time. We were seated right behind them.) Next time we'll request outside seating. Salmon & artichoke pasta was good, just needed some salt. The fish & chips were excellent.
We were seated on time party of 6. The waitress appeared to be trying her best. The food was mid. My husband had the sesame crusted ahi which was “not bad”. Maybe it was a bad night, we won't go back.
I expected above average food, but that isn’t really what I got – at least for what my table and I ordered. The calamari appetizer had a lot of old bay seasoning and pepper, which really didn’t go with the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. The seasoning was overdone and then the sauces were bland. I got the lobster shrimp gnocchi. Lobster and shrimp were excellent, but the gnocchi were processed puffs stuffed with ricotta and spinach and nothing special. I hate wasting calories...
