I have dined at this restaurant many times. The host was very welcoming and cheerful.The food was well prepared, but not over the top. I was disappointed with the dinner service from our server Carlos, not sure why he was not very attentive, since the restaurant was not very busy at all.

Bus boy dropped plate really hard while packing our food, no apology no acknowledgement. We stayed awhile after dinner as the restaurant was slow, an employee made a comment of us being in restaurant over an hour. We were staying at the Pine Inn hotel and they are located inside it. Wasn't a very warm friendly place. I like Sacramento location much much better. For what you charge, service shpuld be top notch.

Ive been here a few times, there are some great meals and some not so good, even when hungry. Their bolognese is good which to me is one hallmark of a great Italian restaurant. It is nice to sit outside on their patio on a warm day, good atmosphere there. In main dining area people are constantly walking through from the hotel, it was a lot. It is suitable for all size groups which is nice.
