Food and service were excellent. The hostess was kind to provide us with a booth Our server Christin provided excellent service. Pangaea never disappoints.

The food and menu was really wonderful with lots of variety with an asian fusion vibe. Food and beverage wait service was very friendly and we didn't wait long for our meals. We made a reservation ahead of time and were seated promptly. It's a busy place and tables are a bit close together, but we were comfortable.

Beautiful setting and great service but food was not hot and didn't have much flavor. Price is a little too high for this quality.

We ordered sea bass and salmon for our entrees, but unfortunately both were overcooked and dry — maybe because their skins were also removed?! Other than that, the tuna poke was fantastic, so was the soup of the day (chicken & veggies) and the Sauvignon Blanc wine. Our server was GREAT!!

Very inexperienced staff. A few suggestions. Don't clear plates until everyone is finished. When you do clear, take everything. In our case, empty ramekins from cocktail sauce and a few other used items remain.

Atmosphere and service were good, but the food and the menu overall just seemed tired. My steak had almost no flavor and the potatoes gratin was cold and appeared to come from a leftover pan in the fridge, just not nuked in the microwave for long enough. Could be a great place if they just revamped the menu a little a included freshly made sauces and locally sourced items

Phenomenal lunch menu with variety for everyone. Great service with decent pricing on the ocean Ave.

The food was AMAZING and service was great. A bit on the pricier side and slightly loud atmosphere. Overall, very positive experience.

Great food and service. French toast was excellent and they gave my wife some great sorbet for her birthday.

Love the food and service here....we have been coming here since they opened and have sampled most of their appetizers, salads and entrees. Have never been disappointed. Their drinks are amazing!

We always have dinner here every time we come to Carmel. Last night we had calamari, crab cakes and sand dabs...all were EXCELLENT! It's a beautiful restaurant with very friendly staff and a very peaceful, with a lovely ambience. The best thing about our meal was our waiter...Alpha. He is from Zhambia and was very outgoing and fun loving. Just a delightful young man and a budding young movie actor. All in all, it was a perfect dining experience.

Ich musste, trotz Reservierung, 45 Minuten warten bis ein Tisch frei wurde. Erst nach 30 Minuten wurde ich mit ganz billigem Frizzante (auf Englisch hochtrabend „a glass of champagne“ tituliert) abgespeist. Der Service war für amerikanische Verhältnisse eher mau (die Gläser nicht abserviert, der Kellner zeigte wenig Interesse). Das Essen war aber gut.

Waiter was very cordial and attentive. Food was phenomenal and the restaurant was lively.

Very nice classy atmosphere and lovely place for a nice date with my guy. The service was top notch and we never felt rushed. The warm bread and butter served before the meal was delicious. For an entree I ordered the Sand Dob plate with mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. The fish was okay, but didn’t have much flavor and didn’t have a good texture. I would give the fish alone only 3 stars. The seasonal veggies were a nice touch. I wish the portion of mashed potatoes would have been a little bit more. They were creamy and good. Hubby had Kimchi. He liked it very much! ! We split a crème brûlée that we both loved. Especially the coffee flavored brûlée.
