I had the French onion soup. It was pretty good but very salty. I ended up getting a pure tart to go and that was incredible! Highly recommend that. The service was okay but not exceptional. I had to ask three times for a lemon wedge for my water she kept forgetting. And it wasn't all that busy. I would have been more understanding if it was really busy but it wasn't. I have been there a few other times and not been completely satisfied with my meals.

Stopped in for a quick lunch break and as usual, food was delicious, service is outstanding, and pastries are fresh and delicious. Best little French restaurant in town hands down!

A long time favorite. I remember going here with my mother for the hot chocolate. Went yesterday (Tuesday June 16th) with a friend and her mother. They had gluten free options, (mom is sensitive) fish, beef, vegetarian. My friend had a pot pie and I had a cheese burger.
I was so happy. The burger was very tasty and juicy. The bread was light and fluffy. I couldn't finish it, it was so big. The fries were perfect! With just enough crunch and saltiness. I am so happy I got to go after so many years.
The service was phenomenal. We were greeted, seated promptly, ordered and got the food quickly. It was an enjoyable lunch in a beautiful restaurant.
If I am in the area again, I shall stop in for some pastries! I was too stuffed to even entertain the idea of desert.

Patisserie Boissiere is the perfect place to go in Carmel. It’s very charming , great food and ambience. Most importantly great service. The staff has been working there for many years and they certainly have what is lacking in most restaurants, service with a smile and knowledgeable of their menu.
Giuliano the owner together with his lovely wife Lydia, are great hosts. I have been mostly when Giuliano is there and he makes us feel like home, with great knowledge in wine, food and the most important a great and warm personality!
I have the best time when I go there because I get to practice my Italian with him!
Great energy, perfect for a romantic date night, or a casual lunch with friends!
Oh! Almost forgot… Save room for dessert, they have the most delicious pastries and dessert ever 😋 I highly recommend Patisserie Boissiere!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would.

We bought a tiramisu and were looking at the menu to see if we wanted to order more food and dine in. The staff suddenly came over and aggressively told us to leave because we “only bought one tiramisu.” Extremely rude attitude and terrible customer service.
