My wife and I stumbled across this cute coffee shop when walking around Carmel by the sea.
My wife got the iced honeybee latte and enjoyed it

a hidden spot with lovely patio and delicious baked goods, definitely recommend the cardamom pistachio tea cake (120 year old recipe from a Persian grandpa!)

.Do yourself a favor and don't go there 10$ for the worst ice cream I've ever had. It's like the cheapest store bought ice cream. Disappointing and feels like a scam. I would've given -10 if it was possible
Cute place. Cakes taste good. But the line… the staff is nice but service is really slow.
The guy who took our order was rude, when served, the drink was spilt on the counter and the server walked off. Coffee is mid Choose a different coffee spot!
Bad coffee beans in a place they are suppose to roast their own it’s strange. It is in a nice courtyard but looks abandoned and the coffee didn’t taste good. Overpriced too

Last coffee stop before leaving Carmel-by-the-Sea.
We walked in mostly because the place looked cozy from outside and honestly… sometimes that’s enough. Warm lights, wood everywhere, fresh roasted coffee smell, random little pastries behind the glass, people quietly sitting with laptops like they’ve been coming there for years.
Ordered a large Honey Bee Latte. My wife got a hot matcha.
First thing I noticed? Carmel prices are absolutely insane. Almost $18 for two drinks and I definitely looked at the receipt twice for a second. But then again — this is Carmel. At some point during a California coast roadtrip you stop questioning it and just continue the experience.
Coffee was good. Not “best coffee of my life” good. Just genuinely solid coffee made by someone who clearly does this all day long. Matcha was smooth too, not overloaded with sugar like in a lot of tourist spots.
One woman was basically running the whole place herself — taking orders, making drinks, talking to customers, keeping everything moving. Respect for that honestly.
And weirdly enough, that’s what stayed with me the most. Not the latte. Not the pastries. Just the feeling of the place. Quiet. Warm. No fake energy. No rush.
Would I come here every single morning? Probably not.
Would I stop again during another Highway 1 trip? Yeah, I probably would.
Strong 5 stars. Real place. Real people. Sometimes that’s enough.

SO CUTE this place is!! I love the ambiance it’s what brought us here, but the friendly staff and the DELICIOUS matcha was the real highlight! They use quality matcha and have a bunch of different options of milk and honey as a sweetener
Really loved my experience here, 10/10!
