We had a great time at vesuvio. We weren't overly hungry and had the pizza. Who would have thought adding honey to Pizza would be so good? We met some new friends, too! Be sure to go upstairs to the roof top bar. You can eat up stairs as well.

The rooftop is great for a date night with plenty of fire pits in case it’s a chilly night. The wine list is okay when compared to other restaurants in the area. I recommend this as a stop before or after dinner for the rooftop.

This was our first visit to Carmel and we ate here one evening. We read that their pizzas are good (even though they offer many dinner entrees) so we gave it a try. We sat at a high top bar table and the bartender waited on us. She was very friendly and attentive. In fact, other staff stopped by to check on us as we ate. The pizza was excellent and the bar mixes really good too. I would definitely go back.

Make a stop every time I go to Carmel - they should have a loyalty program! Consistently great food, amazing staff. The Pepes are a Carmel institution and everyone should visit one of their restaurants when in town.

Overall a very poor experience. Starting off by the front desk hostess. She must have been having a bad day because as I walked in she provided a very poor welcoming. I told her I had a part upstairs and she said someone needed to come down to get me. She asked what their name was so she can check, which was ridiculous. When I got up there and ordered my spaghetti and meatballs. The presentation was fantastic but was shocked on how bland it was. When asking the server for something different he rolled his eyes. We will not be coming back...

Great place to celebrate a birthday! Started with my all-time favorite appetizer the artichoke lollipops! So good we ordered two for the table, also enjoyed the Jackie-o best pasta dish on the menu in my opinion. Ended the night with espresso martinis.

This restaurant is awesome. My wife and I each had the sea bass catch of the day for main meal, and we shared a roasted garlic appetizer. I had wine by glass. The food was unbelievably delicious. There was an air of authenticity about this restaurant that is unique in the Carmel restaurant scene. Our server lady was a true delight, professional in every way. The atmosphere very pleasing. We intend to frequent this restaurant, given that we visit Carmel every few months. By the way the rooftop bar a bonus. We had before dinner drink there, a truly unique experience.
