The food is outstanding. I'm a celiac and required to have a gluten free diet. Their gluten free penne with the vodka sauce was so good. I'm craving it two days later and can't wait to go back.
This was our first visit to Carmel and we ate here one evening. We read that their pizzas are good (even though they offer many dinner entrees) so we gave it a try. We sat at a high top bar table and the bartender waited on us. She was very friendly and attentive. In fact, other staff stopped by to check on us as we ate. The pizza was excellent and the bar mixes really good too. I would definitely go back.

We had a great time at vesuvio. We weren't overly hungry and had the pizza. Who would have thought adding honey to Pizza would be so good? We met some new friends, too! Be sure to go upstairs to the roof top bar. You can eat up stairs as well.
