I enjoyed my food at Yafa, the service was nice but the decoration was a bit dated and run down. There was dust on several of the areas and it did not feel as clean as you would like. The prices were a bit on the high side and I did not feel lik ethe quality reflected that. Overall this was an enjoyable meal but I would be hesitant to return.
We enjoyed Yafa's. The staff is very professional, friendly, and attentive. We enjoyed the dolmas which were excellent, the Lebanonese & Greek beer, lentil soup, Greek salad, and kebab plate. All of the ingredients were very fresh (the romaine in the Greek salad is the freshest and sweetest romaine I've experienced). The atmosphere was very cozy. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience. We will be back soon, and would recommend.
We come to Yafa every year when we visit Carmel in September. We like the dog friendly support and Mediterranean menu. The vegan cauliflower steak was wonderfully spiced but the lamb shank was tender but uninspired in terms of spice or flavor. It's not a good sign when I had to ask for salt and pepper.
