I've been going to Taqueria del Valle for 29 years. We started going here when we bought our home in Carmel Valley. It is the best; the chicken is fantastic in soft flour tacos with rice and beans. The Chili Verde is the best I've had anywhere. My background is in luxury hotels; I've eaten at the best restaurants in our area, the Bay Area, NYC, and Europe; still, this is one of my favorite restaurants. If you don't know authentic Mexican food, you might not appreciate it. I'm still trying to figure out why Kenneth w. has a problem with microwave use? Weird.

I went in for a great experience. My friends have talked about it and so let's check it out. Soon as I walked in I watched the cook putting food in the microwave. After they took my order. Chef Mike used seven more times with me. The lady at the counter took my order. I told him pacifically I just want Kearny Asada sour cream and cheese. Drive all the way home to open it. To find out it had a lot of rice and beans in it. Try to deal with It. But it was just average food. Made by Chef mike #Microwave Anyways that's my experience #1Love #GodBlessUsAll

Wow the mark of a killer taqueria imo is the preparation of the meats. Asada, pastor y carnitas triple taco plate. Fantastic. Generous portions for solo tacos. Great salsa bar. Green u red spicy to mild options. Yummy guacamole. Husband had the lengua. Perfect location to follow up after some wine tasting in white oak plaza. Loved it. 10/10

Busy popular spot. Good service. Quesadilla is awesome. Enchiladas ok. Tacos ok. Limited outdoor seating. Took quite a while to get food. Would try again if back in the area.

Amazing food, I ended up moving to Texas in 2022. Their Chili Colorado Burrito is the best thing I think. Also their hottest salsa is my favorite. Everything is all made with passion and love. Thank you Lucy for everything! I hope 2023 is profitable and God Bless. Not so keen on Mexican food in Texas. Its completely different. Not the same quality do you ship next day?
