I've been going to Taqueria del Valle for 29 years. We started going here when we bought our home in Carmel Valley. It is the best; the chicken is fantastic in soft flour tacos with rice and beans. The Chili Verde is the best I've had anywhere. My background is in luxury hotels; I've eaten at the best restaurants in our area, the Bay Area, NYC, and Europe; still, this is one of my favorite restaurants. Wow the mark of a killer taqueria imo is the preparation of the meats. Asada, pastor y carnitas triple taco plate. Fantastic. Generous portions for solo tacos. Great salsa bar. Green u red spicy to mild options. Yummy guacamole. Husband had the lengua. Perfect location to follow up after some wine tasting in white oak plaza. Loved it. 10/10
