Went to a live jazz performance here. Great small venue, relaxed vibe, and knowledgeable staff. Great wines, too! The space was clean, well maintained, and with a modern, but almost retro-60's feel. The wines are classic Monterey - Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Salinas Valley and SLH. But Sabrine Rodems, the winemaker (a very busy girl in these parts, making wines for many of the local labels), also does varietals from other nearby AVAs, like Paso Robles. Recommend.
I love this stylish wine tasting room
in Carmel Valley. Lots of abstract art and designer lounges. The space is tucked away in the back of Carmel Valley Village. Sparkling wines and pinot noirs were delicious. They also offer food pairing: charcuterie plates with salumi, cheese, nuts and olives. Our host Anthony helped make the experience even more memorable. I went on a Tuesday and was the only one there but the hostess, Maria, was still very present and took good of me. Fun wines, my fav was probably the brut rose and the standard brut sparkling wine. Beautiful tasting room

The space is beautiful and open, with several seating options, making it ideal for gatherings. The wine selection is impressive, with the C-47 line being a standout. Guests have enjoyed the Grenach and Chardonnay, both of which were delightful. The tasting room also hosts fun events like Drag Bingo and Wine Paw-ty with adoptable dogs. Charcuterie boards are available for guests to graze on, and the attentive servers, including Sabrine and her team, provide great service, making coordination easy. With a beautiful patio and the option to enjoy live music, Scratch is a highly recommended spot to visit.
