Our favorite Hotel to stay in Carmel. It’s a little piece of heaven with stunning views and beautiful rooms. Customer Service is top notch.
Bernardus tasting room is friendly, welcoming and the staff is highly knowledgeable. Dogs are permitted on the patio with the understanding that they will be quiet and not disruptive to other guests. Occasionally guests do not respect those expectations and we’re pleased to see that they are asked to manage their pets or leave. This is why we always feel welcome with our dogs. Thank you Bernardus!
My son Tristen and I had a wonderful time here during our visit to Carmel Valley. The famous Cabernet was absolutely delicious, and the service was incredible from start to finish. Everyone made us feel welcome, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and we can’t wait to come back!

The outdoor seating is perfect for a casual wine tasting, although it may not be ideal for those seeking a vineyard experience. The winery has a good selection of wines, including a popular chardonnay that tastes like candy. For white wine lovers, the Sauvignon Blanc and rosé are also highly recommended, alongside the delicious Pinot Noir and Bordeaux blend.
