Had an excellent meal at Palo Palo. Great food, great drinks, great service. A new local gem! Thankful to have this option in the neighborhood.

Downtown price for amateur quality! The food tasted meh (but on dry and bland side), and way too expensive for what they are. Portion was ridiculously small. They also didn't include one of the sides I ordered. Definitely not going back.

I would definitely return to this spot for some tasty Filipino food. We tried the pancit with chicken which had great flavor. The garlic rice was so good. The chicken drumsticks with adobo were amazing-get them sisig...jalapeños and onion sautéed w/seasoning and placed over dish. The pork belly was cooked to perfection! The ube churros and a banana pudding were our dessert. I'll just say-wow. Every dish was flavorful and cooked just right. We were even given some type of Filipino hot dog to try and it was quite tasty! I would order it off the menu next time 😋 I would also highly rate the service as well. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming and helpful to answer our questions. The wait time for the food was pretty quick too! This place was a 10/10 and we will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

My partner suggested this place from a friend so I went there with my family. ***The menu is new and is no longer Mexican food***. It's more Filipino - American Fusion.
We had Talib Kawali, Cauliflower Sisig, Palo Stix, Pancit Walabok, the Fili-bisteak, cheesy fries, and the Sisig Spareribs.
For Dessert we had Ube Cheesecake, Coffee Cheesecake, and the Iced Banana Pudding with Vanilla Wafers.
The dinner was very good! I think they hit the fusion concept well though the dishes are a little small and probably not Filipino enough. I think it clashed with the look of the restaurant which feels somewhat casual (you order from the bar).
Dessert was alright. The Ube Cheesecake was amazing. More mixed reviews on the Coffee Cheesecake and the Ice Banana Pudding. The later looks beautiful but they didn't burn off enough rum when making it. It's a new dish though and it didn't take away from the rest of the experience.
9/10.

Really interesting spot with a lot of dishes that I don't think I've seen anywhere else. They have a very unique naming convention for their dishes so don't be afraid to ask for an explanation on certain things - the servers are really friendly and happy to explain things!

My favorites were the pork belly, Ube Churros and Ube Cheesacake. Our group also enjoyed the beef ribs, pork belly, lumpia, prawns, brisket sandwich, brisket fries, pork belly sandwich, cheese fries, garlic rice, and Oreo cheesecake.

I appreciate Filipino cuisine when they have vegan options. For vegans, they have a designated vegan kitchen so there is no cross contamination.
You walk in, grab menus, pick a table, and when you’re ready to order you walk up to the bar. Several tvs playing the games as we waited for our meal. We ordered the pancit walabok (vegan), smoked sisig spareribs, fries, & Kyle’s rice (garlic rice). He ordered the new old fashioned and they didn’t spare the alcohol. I’ve never liked pancit palabok but this one, was the best I’ve had. He devoured the sisig. Quality through and through.
Now if you start off with their restaurant name, take a look at their menu names, they have a twist of humor. lol, palo means “spanking”, my pancit “wala”bok (nothing). It’s a punny place, great food, thoughtfulness played in every aspect, terrific, welcoming service.
This will be part of our go to rotation.

Lots of vegan options but I went for the jackfruit birria tacos and a side of white beans. I have to confess I wasn’t too impressed by either…I really wished I liked them more. The Oreo mousse for dessert was delicious though! I would like to go back and try different items on the menu.
Great food. Great drinks. Smaller menu. But I like that. Best quesabirria tacos ever. Super tender brisket and nice crispy cheese on the outside. Delicious.
