Amazing vibes in this coffee shop! Everyone behind the counter was super friendly and the customers seemed happy too, I got the sense this is a beloved local spot. For coffee I was recommended the chocolate covered strawberry for those with a sweet tooth--delicious flavor! The coffee itself isn't the best I ever had but I am a sucker for fun flavors so I'm happy. The grilled cheese is awesome, they perfectly nailed all the textures. The pressed fully toasted outer crust, eggs are just right, not overwhelmed with cheese, sourdough sturdy enough to hold it together but still soft inside, just spot on. I'm inspired to improve my grilled cheese skills at home. Will be back next time I'm in the area to try more coffee flavors, pastries, and that soup.

The sandwich is simply perfect, perfectly cooked, with creamy scrambled eggs and crispy bread. The coffee is always amazing, and I highly recommend the Midtown Morning sandwich and Dark Mocha. My husband and I frequent this cafe regularly and highly recommend it because it's incredible—you have to try it!

Ordered the brisket grilled sandwich, and while it was tasty, the brisket quality was terrible. So much bristle that I could chew half of it. Disappointed.

A great local coffee shop that has delicious drinks and grilled cheese sandwiches. My husband loves the Enzo macchiato. I love the Amortentia sparkler. All the grilled cheeses we've tried are good, but the Tony Soprano is our favorite. The staff is super friendly!

I feel very bad, but I have to write this I have a strong feeling that The Fast Cat (that was the best place in Carmichael) has gone. Before this place was more kind and happy to see You, was more friendly. You had a feeling that You are part of the family. Not anymore The food was much better (my soup now is sweet as a syrup, and the lemonade is sour as a bold lemon). The sandwiches are very average (before they were mind blowing) The coffee was roast in house and the taste was much better than Vanelli’s coffee. The service is bad, people don’t pay attention to the customers. The music is too loud. They have cut the operation hours That place is used to have SOUL, but not anymore I’m about to cry, I feel very very sad about that Dear Dolly, I miss You so much! 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔
I start with my coffee and the most delicious pastry in the morning. Then just reciently i tried the Mardi Gras sandwich and my tast buds exploded 😛🤩 it was the most delicious sandwich ive ever had and very filling. Worth every penny and more. Im 6ft 1 and 220 and it filled me up. Plus they have a nice assorment of others too. I'll be trying more. I want everybody to know they are Awesome and i like good food. Go there you wont be disappointed. 😁👍. I wanted to add more to my review. I use to go to a sweet little coffee shop for 23 years and they were like family. The covid caused them to shut down and i was sad and thought i would never have that again. Until one day i walked into Fat Cat Coffee. I've now got that wonderful feeling back and i'm now at peace again and have my chill place. All i can say is give them a try because they treat you like family and im sure you will love it. Ive only been here once but so far this place SLAPS. My partner got the firehouse mocha and they really liked it and I got the La Mora. I was a lil hesitant on it, fearing that the blueberry wouldn't go well with the coffee but honestly it was surprisingly SUPER tasty and unique. We each got the brisket grilled cheese but I added egg to mine. The sandwiches smacked as well. My only gripes are that to add egg it was an extra whole $2.50.. thats pretty expensive. As for quality though, this place is great. Good coffee with both basic and unique flavors and good food!
