I needed a pecan pie for Thanksgiving and wanted to support a small business. I got there right at noon (when they opened) and joined the line for first-come, first served pies. It took 30 minutes for me to get to the register, and I was told the pecan pies were still baking and needed 30 minutes more. I offered to pay and wait, but was told no because it would be "too hard and confusing" for them. I would have to come back later, wait in line again, and hope the pie I needed was available. The salesperson was not apologetic. I was basically penalized for arriving early. It was pretty clear they didn't care about me or my money, so I will go elsewhere.
Had an absolutely delicious vegan Strawberry pie here a while back for my birthday. I'm not personally vegan. I was just wanting to avoid dairy since my husband is lactose intolerant. But the pie was terrific! Could not tell that it was vegan at all.

I took one of their pie making classes and it was so much fun! Small groups for more hands on learning. The owner is funny, friendly, and very passionate and knowledgeable! I did the butterscotch apple pie and walked away with an amazing pie and the recipe. So much fun and so worth it!!
I saw this place on DoorDash and saw they had an old fashioned custard pie which I absolutely LOVE and usually just make myself but wanted to just curb my craving without having to put all the work into making one… I was prepared to be disappointed and be like “yeah.. I’ll make one this weekend.” But Noooo!!! Everything about it was PERFECTION! The flavor was perfect! Sweet but not overly so, perfectly spiced so you still get a good custard flavor! The crust was perfectly flaky, holds itself together but crumbles and melts in the mouth! Words cannot describe how good this pie was well enough to do it justice! It was so good that some tears may have been shed after I realized I ate the last bite and there wasn’t any more left. It was so good I decided I needed to order more IMMEDIATELY! Yeah sure I don’t need to eat more right now but I do need it in my house to eat tomorrow and knowing it’s there when I get home from work in a Friday night can get me through my work day 😅 (I ordered different flavors this time as well as their quiche!)

Most delicious pies! Stuck in a back corner but doesn’t discount the quality… Girl named Maya was so sweet and helpful.

My sister and I think that this pie shop has the best pie crust out of the various pie crusts we’ve tried in our lives, and so this is our favorite shop for pie : o
The store owner occasionally does baking classes onsite for pie and some other baked things, and she gives good and insightful instructions and also gives good feedback as we follow along after her demonstration.
The pies and the classes are well worth the money : )

We drove from Roseville with high expectation. They did not have a variety of choices. We ordered the strawberry pie. It was expensive. They had a sitting area but we were told, that we could sit at that area. We were so disappointed with the chocolate crust strawberry pie. The crust was hard and the strawberry was not fresh. No comparison to Marie Callender strawberry pie and Rick’s Dessert Sacramento.
Drove over 1/2 hour from Roseville, was totally disappointed. Cute name, but that's about it.. Because I really love pies. Super difficult to find within the shopping center. Walked up to the shop a minuscule selection, probably only 7 or 8 pies. With limited choices, decided on a chocolate crust berry pie which I'd never heard of before asked if we could sit in one of the seats over with a cute little table, and workers behind the counter said no. Even if we went to the common area with tables, they couldn't even provide us with forks. Went to the gelato place 5 stars amazing. Take the pie home and could not consume as the chocolate crusted barry was not very delicious. Sorry about that guys. Can't imagine anyone giving this pie location 5 stars? Thank you.

Bought a pumpkin pie from this shop. It definitely was not worth the $28 price. According to the ladies working that day, it was a freshly baked pie. When we got home, we noticed the filling was pulled away from the crust. There was a serious lack of spices. Asked my older teen (pumpkin pie lover) how he liked the pie. All he could say was "Meh." Then he suggested we never buy a pie from there again.

Being honest here....cute place...but the pies are mid, taste like it was made by machine. Was not giving homemade/in house vibes at all. I love to supprt small business so I stopped by, little disappointed. The Gelato spot next door was on point though. Definitely recommend you grab some Gelato!

Just got home from a wonderful, hands-on pie-making class at I Love Pie Bakeshop! Very small class - just four of us - so we had all of Diana's (the owner) attention. Diana is enthusiastic, funny, kind and really, really good at explaining. She broke the class down into small demos, then we'd all go into the kitchen to recreate what we just learned. She had everything prepared (weighed, cut and sliced, cooled) in advance so our time was spent making and baking, not weighing and measuring.
While we waited for our pies to bake, we were treated with slices of I Love Pie goodness.
I highly recommend!

I was told fresh and crunchy apple slices in pie. They were mush. And it seemed old. Not sweet as I had hoped. I asked person there if she was a chef, she said no. I asked because she had a chef shirt on. Not much stocked and I just felt most were old. Shop is a hole in the wall, 20x25 I think. Very expensive. From parking lot you can't tell where the shop is.
