Stopped in for lunch at Mesa Mercado and saw the pies. Have wanted to try. We ordered vanilla hand pies. My expectations were not high TBH. But they were far surpassed! The crust was buttery, flaky and tender--melted in my mouth. The vanilla filling was absolutely scrumptious. I am honestly not even big on pie, but I am definitely hitting this place up again 1000%. Had an absolutely delicious vegan Strawberry pie here a while back for my birthday. I'm not personally vegan. I was just wanting to avoid dairy since my husband is lactose intolerant. But the pie was terrific! Could not tell that it was vegan at all.

I took one of their pie making classes and it was so much fun! Small groups for more hands on learning. The owner is funny, friendly, and very passionate and knowledgeable! I did the butterscotch apple pie and walked away with an amazing pie and the recipe. So much fun and so worth it!!
