I was exiting Raleys at 9am, when I asked a young black man if he was hungry. He was very polite and said, “yes Ma’am.” (Btw, he wasn’t asking anyone for anything, he was sitting in the corner quietly). So I went to the drive-through at Jack-in-the-Box (on Marconi and Watt) to buy him a coffee and a meal. As soon as I pulled to the window to pay for my order, Karla (the woman working there) opened the window and starts chewing me out about buying food for this unhoused man. No smile, no greeting, she didn’t even tell me how much the amount was. She just kept going on and on. I should’ve just left, but I paid for the food and gave it to the young man. As I pulled around the building to leave, Karla was out back with her phone in her hand, as if she was reporting him to the police or something. I’m not sure what that was all about, but nothing was happening. In fact, as soon as I gave the young man his food he started walking away from the area. I don’t need Karla to get fired or demoted for this Behavior, but she does need to keep her opinions and emotions to herself and gracefully greet the customers, not chew them out for their deeds.

I haven't been to Jack in the Box in years & was so exited to be able to stop by and get a Sourdough Jack meal (my favorite) with regular fries (scrumptious) & ranch dressing dipping sauce. Delicious! Thank you!

Whoever answered the phone at around 5pm march 21st 2025 is rad, amazing customer service skills I ordered doordash from here there was no option to request ketchup packets so I called the man who answered was extremely helpful and kind
