Great Moldovan restaurant with authentic, delicious food. The live music adds a really nice touch and makes the place feel atmospheric and lively. Service is friendly, and the prices are totally reasonable. Definitely worth a visit if you want something different and genuinely tasty.

I wanted to honor my ancestors on my birthday, 29OCT. Many of our memories and traditions have been lost. Thank you for providing a wonderful atmosphere and authentic, traditional meals I could share with my daughter and family.
Delightful restaurant tucked away far from the major freeways. The menu was extensive and service friendly. One of the workers was singing karaoke while the other waited on us. Food was tasty and the prices fair. Huge space, so would be viable for large groups. Not easy to find this type of food, so a nice surprise.

Went here and really enjoyed the ambiance. My dad had the lamb stew and said it was one of the best stews he ever had.

The Napolean cake is to die for!!! My husband and I ended up ordering it again - and the chef was kind to accept some requests for minor modifications which was a nice touch, felt very hospitable. Our host was also very warm and friendly and answered all our questions. The place has beautiful Moldovan decor which made this an overall great experience as well! Can not wait to visit again!

Noroc Restaurant gave me one of the most unique dining experiences I’ve had in Carmichael because it introduced me to Romanian and Moldovan cuisine in the most authentic way possible. The place has a warm, welcoming vibe, and the food truly felt like home cooking elevated to restaurant quality. I tried their placinta, a stuffed pastry, and it was crispy, flaky, and filled with savory goodness. Then came the mamaliga, a dish similar to polenta, served with a rich stew that was hearty and flavorful. It was the kind of meal that sticks to your ribs in the best way. The portions were generous, and every bite tasted fresh and made with love. The staff were warm and clearly proud of sharing their heritage, which made the whole experience feel personal. What I loved most was that everything felt authentic and not Americanized - it was food that really honored its roots. Noroc is the type of place that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something rare and special in Carmichael.

I wanted to introduce my husband to what I grew up eating in Romania.
Upon entering, you notice it’s very clean and love all the decorations.
There’s a certain part of the restaurant that practically looks like a museum, It’s all very immersive.
Romanian food is authentic and truly amazing.
Unfortunately, the service was non existent. I watched a few people leave because they were simply tired of waiting. But I was committed and waited for our food which did come out in a timely manner. I had to flag down a waitress for water and everything else (box, check etc)
Overall great food, really reminds of my Oma’s cooking.

I was there for the first time. Very nice place. Great food and service. Waiter S was very busy with a full room of visitors and forgot to serve me a meat dish, and as an apology she served me a gorgeous dessert, which was probably very tasty. Unfortunately I don't like sweets since childhood, so I treated my friends to this dessert. Everyone was happy. I recommend this place.
