“I have had some delicious Vietnamese food, but this place had the best noodle bowl I have ever had... which I don't say lightly. It was too hot for pho, so I had a vermicelli bowl. The pork was a unique flavor with crisp edges, the veggies were fresh and flavorful, and the noodles were the perfect texture. The water even had lemon and cucumber in it - so refreshing.
Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere was very calming and the service was outstanding.
This is my new favorite place.“

“"Pho City is hands down one of the best spots for Vietnamese food in town. Their pho is absolutely outstanding—easily some of the best I’ve ever had. The broth is rich, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned, with just the right depth of flavor to make every bite incredibly satisfying. It’s clear they put a lot of care into their recipe, as the broth has that slow-cooked, homemade quality that sets it apart from other places. Pair that with fresh, tender slices of beef or their savory chicken, and you’ve got a bowl of pho that feels like pure comfort food.
What truly elevates Pho City, though, is the attention to detail in every dish. Even their condiments, like the garlic chili oil and hoisin sauce, are balanced and flavorful, adding an extra layer of richness without overpowering the main dishes. It’s clear they take pride in delivering a consistently high-quality dining experience.“

“Passed by here earlier this afternoon with a family friend before bringing him home so He could go to work at 1:00PM. This is My first time going to this Vietnamese restaurant in Citrus Heights. I've seen this place before when I was riding Bus Route #1 going from Sunrise Mall Transit Center to Watt/I-80 Light Rail Station. I ordered a #1 Noodle Soup, Large Bowl and Root Beer with light ice. The other person ordered a #1 Noodle Soup, Small Bowl and Heineken Beer.“

“I go here about once every two weeks . I love the food or just for the shake with the boba . I recommend this restaurant to neighbors who live in the neighborhood and bring people from out of the state when visiting . The atmosphere and cleanliness is impeccable . The receptionist / waitress has got to be the most unfriendliness person I have ever met in my 84 yrs of life . It is impossible to even get a friendly smile let alone words or a “thank You” . It is a big turn off. I have neighbors who will not go there because of her. It is hard to ignore .“
