The food is decent, but it’s not worth the hoops you have to jump through to place an order. They absolutely never answer the phone, and online ordering is spotty. The first time, we had to drive over and order our takeout in person in order to reach someone. Tonight we tried to order online. They charged us and let the order go through, but then canceled it within a minute on the backend. $70 now that won’t get reimbursed for 3-5 business days. If the restaurant can’t take orders, please don’t allow people to place them online only to immediately reverse them. Funds don’t get reimbursed immediately and that can create a hardship for families.

My favorite appetizer to begin with are the shishito peppers! The sushi rolls are consistently met with high acclaim. My favorite dishes are the House Wife, Deep Fried Alex roll, and Lily! My husband loves the garlic edamame and the beef noodles. The sesame chicken lunch special and gyoza are my sons favorite. Shogun Sushi is truly the best sushi restaurant in Carmichael. Alex definitely knows how to run his business!!!

Shogun Sushi never disappoints. The rolls are always fresh, the fish melts in your mouth, and the presentation is top-tier. The staff is super friendly and quick — even when it’s busy. My favorites are the Lion King roll and the baked salmon roll, both packed with flavor. The vibe inside is calm but modern, perfect for either a quick lunch or a chill dinner. Definitely one of the best sushi spots around!

This is the go to sushi spot in carmichael. They make great food and have great service. Sometimes they can get pretty busy and to go orders may take a little time due to the high volume of DoorDash order they get but overall a great choice if you want to stay local in carmichael. Been there many times!! They have recently expanded the dining area and now offer additional seating.

We were in town for a wedding and craving sushi. One of our friend recommended shogun so we thought to give it a go! Don’t regret one moment! Hospitality was wonderful, restaurant was clean and food was on point!!! Highly recommended for locals and out of towners!
Wakame salad was my fav!!!! Kids loved the Chicken teriyaki plate!! And not to mention the tiger roll!
Atmosphere was lovely! Customer service was beyond accommodating. And we were just visiting from LA!
