In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Most times it was a lightly roasted coffee like this one. It took us more than 80 tries to get it right-mellow and flavorful with a nice softness.

As of 26 January, the establishment is operating on a takeaway-only basis, with the interior layout altered to prevent customers from sitting inside. Furthermore, it appears that restroom facilities are not available for use even after purchasing drinks. The entrance to the restroom was blocked off by a custom counter.

Maia took my order in the drive-through and I was pleasantly surprised to hear a voice and demeanor that should be used for Starbucks if they ever use an AI order taker in their drive-through’s in the future. Maia’s voice was sincere when she inquired which drink choice I was contemplating, without any annoyance whatsoever. I cannot describe fully all the details of the dialogue except that it was calming, soothing, reassuring. Management/sales should key in on this quality...
