I finally found my Japanese Restaurant! That knows how to make the proper Donburi Katsudon! OMG! I had given up hope! I called just about every Japanese Restaurant in Sacramento, Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Roseville, Folsom and no one place made Donburi Katsudon. One place said they did but it was far from it. Taiko Sushi is hands down one of the best sushi spots in Carmichael! We’ve been coming here since 2021, and it has never disappointed. The quality of the food is always top-notch fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. What really makes it stand out, though, is the consistently excellent service. The employees are always so polite, welcoming, and attentive, making every visit feel special. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both amazing food and genuinely kind service...
Taiko Japanese restaurant was a nice place to eat overall. The environment was a bit strange, almost like a food court experience because the area is shared with another eatery establishment which was kinda of confusing when we entered. It seems a lot of regular customers just go up to the counter and grab a menu and seat themselves unlike how we stood there waiting to be seated, it's not very clear what you're supposed to do.
