Had the fish and prawns and it was pretty dang good. They did not have fountain drinks though.

Very good, I had it a few years ago (to go) and took it home to eat.. But last night the wife and I were headed to Safeway to grab her a quick Sushi roll on our way somewhere.. however I saw Tugboat mentioned it I know wife instantly said sure why not...So, we stopped in and ate there and really enjoyed everything about it sitting outside in mid October was really nice as well... Can't wait to go back.

I can't say enough nice things about this place. Local small business, super friendly owners, great prices, and charming atmosphere. The food is fresh and delicious. I comfortably sat for about an hour in the diner and worked on my laptop. Please support this small business so it can stay for a long time!

Just went there for the first time in years since I was kid. Gotta say still love how the place looks and the lady up front is so kind even giving me a bit extra just cause. Love it will definitely be coming back

Traveling for work and found Tugboat Fish & Chips. Overall delicious, batter is super crispy - I would have liked more seasoning in the batter (that’s just my own preference) it was super tasty and the fish was very fresh. The pieces of fish were much thinner compared to several places I’ve tried, your two pieces were really 1-1.5 piece if you are comparing the thickness but this place by far has the crispiest batter ever. Even taking the meal back with me to the office to eat it (about an 8-10 minute drive) the fish still had a huge crunch to it. I’d definitely eat here again while in town

The fish and chips here are truly delicious...just pure perfection!! Piping hot, perfect coating, crunchy outside and moist and tender inside...what a delight!!
Speaking of delight...the people operating this shop are the NICEST, ever. They are so very gracious!! This happy place has been there for a long time...now I know why!

I drive for a living. All over California, North, South, East, West, this is the best Fish and Chips place I've ever been to. I recommend the fish, prawns, shrimp, lumpia, onion rings, hushpuppies, and of course the chips. Delicious food! Awesome service!

I order 3 prices fish strips and they threw in onion rings fries and it was outstanding I will be returning many times service was outstanding the lady that waited on me was very very nice thank you in carmichael .
