This location is permanently closed. I reached out via text to the owner. He said he had to close up shop due to unhoused stealing and breaking in or running heaters and electricity or blocking the drive through. This is very upsetting news. Volkswaffle continues in a new location at a new location over the weeknds at a Farmers Market on J St. and 20th. We will definitely be heading out that way to try them out.

Amazing everything! The man that works here is so nice and very helpful! Also imports all his ingredients so the are truly great.

I love coming to this place. The waffles are hand made and the owner is so friendly. If you dont know what to get he knows exactly what will taste the best.

I don’t throw my money at those who judge. Energy doesn’t lie. My daughter and I experienced one too many judgmental stares at your stand (Midtown Farmers Market). Unfortunately, we will no longer be supporting your Volkswagen waffle place.

We had Volkwaffle come out to cater for our employee appreciation day, and they were great! Staff loved the Volkswaffle truck and the waffles themselves were yummy. Terry was great to work with and very accommodating. I can’t recommend them enough!

How is a waffle & coffee place not open early enough to service people before work and school?

Update 5/17: They're actually open! But they're out of ice, so I can't try the frappe. They're out of chocolate waffles, so I can't try what I want. Soooo...I guess I'll try again some other day?

Genuinely one of the best tasting desserts i’ve had in awhile, this place is a hidden GEM. I’ve driven past it so many times and when I finally tried it, it was DELICIOUS! I got the vanilla waffle with extra Nutella, strawberry, and powder. Somehow it was the perfect sweetness. The man working was super friendly and designed the food for YOU! Not the same for everyone which I loved. Definitely coming again! I posted a video on this place on tiktok (30k views!).
