The order taker was not listing and only rang up half of my order. idk if he was preoccupied with something else on his mind. He needs to pay more attention. The food doesn't come out looking like the food at other locations. The fried zucchini had the garlic powder seasoning dumped on the side instead of covering the individual pieces. It was not busy, so I do not understand. Was it poor training or the lack of good employees.

Evidently I don't leave many reviews... however, I had great experience Monday night at Willie's in Carmichael. Firstly, I was surprised by the updated interior, which I think looks quite nice (compared to the original diner style ambiance). I was helped out by a young man, whose name I did not catch, however he was brunette, around high school age. My food was very good, and all of the employees were extremely helpful. My chicken sandwich was very delicious, as well as the accompanying milkshake. Definitely give this one a try.

I hadn't seen black chili until now. Honestly, I ordered the wrong item. I meant to get a double patty with cheese and ordered the double patty with chili and cheese. French fries, onion rings and a hot dog. You'd assume a nice plump juicy hot dog, but it was basically a long thin hot dog that I could make at home, I stared at the burger for a bit trying to figure out if that was black grease or something, it was the chili ! Caked with mustard. The fries were under cooked. The onion rings batter was thin and tasteless. It was disappointing unfortunately. There was one beer on tap. We ultimately gave up, went home heated up some leftovers and dealt with the consequences of our previous decision for half of the next day. People are correct that the ambience feels disjointed. The website is unfinished as well. Prompts for what they mean to write. It just feels like somebody began creating something and gave up midway through as well. It was our second and last try.

Wanted to give them another chance. They have meal deal for only $14. Disappointed. Same frozen patties, dry bread and mediocre fries. Sides of ranch tastes like hidden valley.

If you like a chili burger, you will not be disappointed. I can't speak on their other food because I get the same thing every time, but I'm guessing the rest of the food has the same delicious attributes.

Very friendly staff, greeted by 3 different employees. My online order was ready on time and very well put together burger. The names for the burgers are confusing, but they taste good so ?. Big seating area and ample parking.

So frustrating. If you call no one answers. A machine will eventually pickup, but it doesn't even say that it is Willie's and you can't leave a message. If you try and place an order online it says that you can't order online at this time. This has been going on for months.
I used to be a regular here, coming 3x a week from 2021-2022 after school. They renovated the place, increasing prices 2x and reducing the student discount. The atmosphere isn’t the same anymore. I never write reviews but I’m disappointed at how much Willies changed. I just went 2 days ago with a friend for the first time in a year and came down with the worst sickness/food poisoning of my life. I was up all night throwing up and on the toilet with many other symptoms. I would highly recommend avoiding this place and instead try Skip’s kitchen, Five Guys, and Bella Bru.

Haven't been to this place in a long time until tonight! The food is okay, the service is okay and the atmosphere is okay. Realistically, it was kind of like a copycat I&O burger and they even have "zoo fries" on the menu. They even have the same hot peppers that have been mysteriously missing from I&O in addition to pickled jalapeños. Ultimately, their cheeseburger is $6.95, mostly onion, and tastes like it's trying to be I&O. But, I&O's cheeseburger is $2.80 and is way better. Fry options: better here at Willie's. In fact, they have side orders other than fries (fried pickles were pretty good!) I personally think I&O fries are only edible smothered in cheese, 1000 island and grilled onions. Willie's has more options including their copycat. Their actual fries are much better too. But I got the chili cheese fries and if I owned Willie's I'd either make a HUGE change or not serve them at all. All in all, probably really not worth coming here. It wasn't bad, but it surely wasn't worth what I spent. Unless you get less than 20 MPG and can't just go to I&O, I would say it's a pass.
