I prefer to not write negative reviews but I have to write one on CBs Bistro. We can reseed the calzone. It was terrible. DO NOT order this. The crust was not pizza dough but more like a cracker.

If I could score no stars on the service and atmosphere I would have. Regrettably, my recent experiences at CB's have been deeply disappointing, a stark contrast to the warmth and hospitality once synonymous with this establishment. The transition in ownership has evidently led to a drastic decline in customer service quality. The charm of the former local proprietors has been replaced by the new owners' rudeness, meanness, and unnecessary aggression. My attempts to communicate with the staff, presumably the new owner, have consistently been met with stress and hostility. On my latest visit, a simple online order pickup turned unnecessarily confrontational. While I was merely trying to clarify and amend my order, the response I received was unexpectedly combative, with the owner accusing me of being confrontational, a bewildering accusation when all I sought was to add to my order due to an initial mistake. His unwillingness to assist, coupled with a palpable sense of irritation, left me no choice but to leave, utterly dismayed by the lack of basic courtesy one would expect in a service-oriented business. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also tarnishes the reputation of what could be a thriving local enterprise. It's disheartening to witness the erosion of the congenial, customer-focused atmosphere that once defined CB's. The current proprietor's approach starkly misrepresents the essence of what local business ownership should embody. Consequently, I am compelled to state that I will neither recommend nor patronize CB's again, a decision I make with a heavy heart given my past fondness for the place.

Local's place. THE BEST. Can't imagine a better place to get my pizza and noodle fix.

Came here for a quick lunch since we were staying nearby and could walk here. There's not many options on the north shore but we weren't very hungry so opted for something simple. I ended up getting the the big kahuna chicken salad with pineapple and grilled teriyaki chicken. The salad itself was big and pretty filling. I enjoyed the canned pineapple for sweetness but the chicken was dry and the texture was similar to the already prepared chicken you can buy at grocery stores. The chicken was also too salty and the sauce was more just soy sauce than teriyaki and it wasn't sweet at all. Overall not a bad meal considering there's not a lot of eat around but I wouldn't choose to come again. We did get the local ice cream afterwards as well which was a nice treat. The banana chocolate chip was yummy and pretty light.

First of all new owners raised the price, I ordered the Greek Gyros and paid for extra meat and got less than normal.. and the meat was cold af, pita came right out of what ever bag it came in and wasn't even heated up.. I also paid extra for a sub salad and there was a bs size of a portion! Seriously new owner, prices higher, portions smaller. Seriously disappointed. Not recommended with new owner. Bring back old owner and old prices and Portions.. and passion

Great place to get a burger and latte. Best coffee I've had in a long time. I normally smother my burgers with condiments, but the flavor didn't need any help. Cool interior decor, lots of live plants, and dog friendly patio.

SOLID 5 stars!TLDR: bottom line, this is a simple, affordable joint with recognizable offerings that are prepared exceptionally well.More deets:Happened upon this spot as I was staying at the the little motel a stone's throw away. Decor isn't anything special- typical local sports bar vibe, but the food is delicious and nicely priced. I gave the atmosphere 5-stars because it feels comfortable and unpretentious.Buffalo wings were a nasal delight, but not overly spicy on the palate. My son ordered the gyros and was really impressed by them, and he is a budding epicure.I ordered the house burger, two 4oz patties, and honestly, it was the best burger I've had in recent memory.I didn't order any beers/cocktails, so I can't speak to that, but our Arnold Palmers were deliciously non-sweetened, and refilled without asking. (Can't stand sicky-sweet ice tea)Service was friendly, prompt and efficient, and food was delivered to the table quickly.

Yummmmmm Had a thin crust pizza today and it was fabulous! Our waiter was great, the music was great and we were really happy to see how busy the restaurant was- Love that people are out and about and spending money in our local restaurants!

CBs is a great, cozy spot to go! The staff is welcoming and the food is delicious. The price point is great for Tahoe. We come here often for dinner and just stopped in for breakfast for the first time. If you haven’t tried their breakfast, you’re missing out! Everything was delicious. Good job CB’s team!! We’ll see you again soon!

I used to go to CB’s with my family when I was a teenager. I let 25 years pass and the food was as good as I fondly remembered.
