“Great place to get a burger and latte. Best coffee I've had in a long time. I normally smother my burgers with condiments, but the flavor didn't need any help. Cool interior decor, lots of live plants, and dog friendly patio.”
“Awesome organic cafe, ON the only dog friendly beach in NLT. Also the best spot to rent paddle boards/kayaks/surfskis or outrigger canoes. Paddle accessories and clothes ??”
“You can't beat the view of Lake Tahoe. The food and drinks are also great (the Wet Woody is definitely a summertime classic). There are a variety of options as well, so everyone should be able to find something they like. Dinner options are typically not cheap but they do have a kids menu if you do end up bringing a younger child. When you are done with your meal, take a walk down the dock and take in the view.”
“We drive from Roseville just to have this pizza at least twice a month. Most amazing pizza and pasta we have had in years!! Awesome service and a great atmosphere.”
“I just wanted to thank Barbara and her entire team for always providing me with excellent service and terrific food! Now that I'm moving to Oregon, I will truly miss this place and will always have a soft spot for all their delicious pastries, salads, and sandwiches!! May you have continued success, and to me, one of the best places to eat along the North and West Shores of Lake Tahoe!!”
“I rarely leave reviews, but this place deserves the attention. The beer was phenomenal. I tried three different brews and each one was my favorite. On top of that, Montana, the Paleontologist by day and server by night made our experience memorable. I brought my toddler with me and she entertained both of us the entire time (in a great way) with amazing facts around dinosaurs and was an absolute gem. Their location is a bit hidden, but fully worth the visit. It's SO cool inside. We took off right before trivia night, but I'll definitely be bringing my wife back to join the fun. Anyone looking for a place to stop by should add this to their list. Huge appreciation to Montana for such an enjoyable time.”
“Lives up to the hype! Finally checked out this place and was not disappointed. Arrived just before 12:30 to about ten people already in line and they had already run out of their chicken sandwich special but I wanted the falafel bowl anyway which was fresh and delicious. I added the avocado salsa which I wish was thicker but the taste was great. The outside patio area is great for kids and dogs if you don't mind the occasional sound from the jets which you could still talk over if you spoke loud enough, so it gets a ding for atmosphere because seating inside was hard to get as well, but if you're getting food to go then it's a good option. Plenty of airport parking!”
“really solid food and great atmosphere, with a mix of locals and visitors. the food is super tasty, the bar is warm and welcoming with Trey, the bartender, who is super helpful, funny and responsive. our go-to place apres ski in Kings Beach!”
“Love everything about Christy Hill. The staff are all very attentive and charming. Food is always spectacular. And the view is to die for. Very intimate property for all occasions. Highly recommend for any adventurous foodie.”
“The food was tasteful.. The quantity is more than enough for what you pay..Ordered a pizza, three different plates of pasta, and some garlic bread during lunch.. The quantity was so much that we had a lot of leftovers to pack for the dinner..Must try when going ir returning from your trip to Tahoe..”
“Off the chain, great! I've never had a bad meal there, and I've been dining at Azzara's for at least 20 years. I always tell people who ask for a recommendation. I think it is thenumber 1 restaurant in Incline.Be sure to ask what flavor the homemade Gelato of the restaurant is for that night. And if you like the flavor, order at least one for the table. If you've traveled to Italy and had Gelato there, Azzara's is like a taste of Italy.Vegetarian options: All the pasta for which there are many choices, eggplant Parmigiano (outstanding), salads, especially the Ceasar, roasted veggies, but you have to ask for it to be cooked a little longer otherwise, it's al dente, very al dente. Their menu is online, so you can see what maybe I left out.”
“Exceptional! We made reservations for my boyfriend’s birthday. We got the price fixe menu and the wine pairings. Every single dish was fantastic and we learned a ton about the wine we were tasting.Wine pairing = 2.5-3 glasses of wine matched with the courses you choose. I wish there would have been more California wines on the menu (I’m biased!) but the wine did not disappoint.Price fixe menu = four choices with two special treats from the chef. Exceptional flavors and presentation. There were at least five different wait staff we interacted with, and the host, all lovely and helpful.Total cost of the meal including tip and tax came to $635.00 for the two of us. We spent about 2.5 hours dining at Trokay and most of the next day talking about it. Highly recommend for a special occasion.”
“Ordered a breakfast burrito and a latte. Burrito was delicious. The pastries looked immaculate and I will definitely be back to try them. Tons of gluten free options and a loaf of gluten free bread that looked incredible. The coffee was slightly too darkly roasted for my taste, it tasted somewhat bitter. Not bad in a pinch though.”
“It was busy, staff handled it with a smile and like champs. Truly good customer service. Pizza is outstanding, my favorite place in Truckee. It's small, wish there was more seating, but friendly fun atmosphere. Highly recommend.”
“Excellent stop on our motorcycle ride around the lake. One of the owners is a biker and has designated bike parking right up front. Great Beers and Great Pizza. Amazing outdoor patio.”
“this is the best coffee shop I’ve found in the basin! their espresso is the very best tasting and their menu is delicious and eclectic. They even have tasty gluten-free options! The staff are always joyful and personable and it makes my day to stop in and see them.Dietary restrictions: gluten feee options are on point!”
“Five Stars is not enough. It is one of the best pastries with excellent coffee and absolutely nice, friendly stuff. It was my first time and not the last one , I took some of the pastries home, and everyone loved ”
“HUGE PORTIONS! Friendly staff, food was delicious and was quite busy for a Sunday morning. Only complaint is that the wait service seemed to be slightly understaffed. Other than that it was simply ”
“The food is just right, with delightful flavors and perfectly cooked textures, yet the restaurant feels cozy and unpretentious.I think the food is much more thoughtfully crafted than “fancy” spots further in to Tahoe City (caveat: I have only tried one fancy spot further in Tahoe City) - you can tell there is some creativity and joy going into it here.Every dish we tried was even better than expected with the flavors. We mostly had specials (seafood stew - shrimp/octopus/snapper in a light broth with slight chili kick, roasted asparagus beet gorgonzola salad with curried pomelo vinaigrette, fig and walnut blondie with caramel and whipped cream) plus the tofu and greens. Can’t wait to return and part of me wants to keep the place a secret!!!”
“Very very cool local vibe. You even feel at home as a newbie. Brian is a great bartender. Video gaming at the bar. A must if you are staying at the Hyatt. No food but for smokers, seats outside.”
“This has been our favorite restaurant in Tahoe! We haven’t been back for years but it still tastes as good as we had remembered. Love the thin crispy crust, variety of tasty and unique flavors, and most impressive of all… they bake fresh by slice! Staff was amazing and ice cream was delicious, too!”
“Great Icecream place in Incline Village! The icecream is homemade in Minden, NV and every flavor is absolutely delicious. Staff are friendly and nice. Definitely stop in when you are in Incline.”
“If you are in the North Lake Tahoe area and looking for a legit Third-wave coffee roaster then this is your place. I'm an avid home roaster and always on the lookout for small shops that cater to my tastes when traveling. I was fortunate enough to drop in today while the owner Drew was roasting on his trusty Diedrich just inside the door. It was a priceless experience getting to chat with him about roasting and even get his advice on my struggles to hit the City+ sweet spot with my dry process beans from Sweet Marias ?.Ok, coffee roasting geeking aside – You can't go wrong here if you want to have a solid espresso drink or a carefully prepared pour over with a choice of freshly roasted coffees from different origins. I had a perfect flat white with the house blend and tasty sample of the fruity funky Columbian they were offering pre-brewed. As you'll read in the other reviews the vibe here is chill and the service was great. If you enjoy craft roasted single origin coffee that's not too "dark" (ironically) be sure to stop by this place! Oh, and don't forget to pick up a bag of freshly roasted house beans to bring back to your coffee loving friends back home!”
“Small and cozy - gives modern cabin vibes We did the 6 course menu (note that this menu will no longer be available after week after my posting - it will just be the 10 course menu with both wagyu and chicken) Thought the portion sizes were great and was honestly stuffed at the end Food: Avocado toast [5/5]: very nice japanese twist on a breakfast staple. The miso soaked bread is delicious and surprisingly pairs very well with the mint leaves on top Kampachi [5/5]: fish is super fresh, liked the pickled radish on top but honestly couldn't really tell they were pickled (doesn't have that sour-briney taste), broth was also fantastic. Simple and tasty :) Crispy pork belly [5/5]: i loveeeed this - probably one of the best pork belly i've had. Skin is super crispy but not oily and doesn't feel fatty. It's succulent, juicy, and really yummy with the miso sauce Trout [3.5/5]: 3.5 because i'm just not a huge fan of the fish itself, and it tasted like most other trouts i've had. However, the skin is super crispy and definitely smokey (if you like smoked salmon with dill, this will 100% be your cup of tea) Chicken [4/5]: super crispy smokey skin, the ginger miso bbq (?) sauce was very yummy as well. I thought part of the chicken breast was slightly overcooked but overall very juicy. Also comes with a side of baked sweet potatoes with furikake -- soooo yummy, sweet, and creamy. Maybe a little too much furikake imo - was quite salty and I would've been happy with just a sprinkle Pecan pie [5/5]: yummy! Loved the sakuru cream they paired with it, super light and floral, went well with the pecan pie that had a dash of hennessy”
“We enjoyed a very nice meal on a snowy night when many other restaurants were not open. Our server was very helpful pointing out popular items on the menu. The food was delivered with a very nice presentation. The chef also provided a special (not ordered) light appetizer that was a nice treat. All in all, we really enjoyed our evening at Le Bistro! We will be back!”
“Waiter pretty much ignored the 2 of us in favor of his big parties, tip induced. Gave us the concessionary free dessert which we don't typically order or eat, food was good, atmosphere what were used to going there but service... not so much.”
“The pastries are fantastic! The so tasty and perfect blend of flakey and fluffy, not an easy feat. The baked goods are also beautiful. The coffee was tasty and complimented the baked goods well. The atmosphere is kid friendly and has a great blend of locals and visitors. They had high chairs available. I would post pictures but we ate everything too quickly.Dietary restrictions: They had a few gluten free options that looked delicious. Everything was very clearly labeled for allergies (gluten and nuts, etc.).”
“Great pizza and great service, we choose a specialty pizza and the ingredients were of high quality and fresh on a nice crust and I can safely say one of the better pizzas I had in 2023. We also got a Brussels sprouts appetizer to share and that was a hit with the table, paired with excellent customer service this places is a standout in the area.”
“The food is exceptional, try the Halibut, you will love it! Joey did a wonderful job and the entrire staff is very welcoming and helpful. Perfect place to kick back and have a delicious meal and/or a cocktail.”
“A very lovely breakfast spot with a charming ambiance and excellent swift service. The omelets were ordered were delicious, fluffy with a good amount of cheese, spinach and bacon with nice crispy potatoes and decent coffee. We loved it.”
