Phenomenal food, service, ambience and atmosphere. The menu changes and my favorite is the Tasting Menu. It is divine and I always feel like royalty when I go. 🍽️🧑🏽🍳👑🌊🌲
Christy Hill is truly such a special dining experience. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, small and intimate, with some of the best views of Lake Tahoe. It feels elegant and elevated without ever being stuffy, and the entire evening felt incredibly warm and welcoming.
The wine list was wonderful, and our server, I believe his name was JB, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

The Sand Bar, a cozy spot for drinks or lunch, features a cool red trailer serving food. The staff is friendly and professional, with waiters who are knowledgeable and attentive. The tasting menu is a highlight, with each dish being delicious and well-made. The chef is accommodating of special dietary needs, including gluten-free options.
The location offers a beautiful lake view both inside and outside. The menu changes seasonally, with several choices, including fully vegetarian or vegan options. The wine list is very good and reasonably priced. During busy times, reservations are recommended, as booking requires a credit card through Open Table.
While the food and service are consistently great, some recent guests noted that large parties can create a lot of noise, making it hard to hear. The restaurant has only 10 tables, so splitting large groups might help reduce the noise level. Despite this, Christy Hill remains a small, quiet, and refined restaurant that never disappoints. The sunset view is unmatched, and the Sand Bar below offers live music, cool cocktails, wine, and a lakeside ambiance. The food includes unique dishes like halibut, venison tartare, duck, and scallops, with flavors that are strong despite modest portions.
