Have been coming to Rosie's for over 40 years. It was considered a place for locals back in the day, but has since become popular with tourists and weekenders. It can get busy, as a result, but the menu is diverse and affordable and well-worth the wait. It's nice to have the option for breakfast into the early afternoon. The service is always great and the atmosphere is fun.
I'm guessing this is a hot spot for tourist. Our hotel wanted to charge us $20ea for some super basic buffet style breakfast, hell. NO. For $20 each, definitely would rather go out to a restaurant near by. Passed by Rosie's a few times and it always looked busy so we wanted to go to early before their peak hours aka brunch time. I'm bumping up to five stars because of value.. pricing is normal, not Tahoe premium. The menu is a diner menu, meatloaf, burgers, pot roast. On my server's recommendation I had pot roast and mashed potatoes. The serving was generous and the food was tasty. To my surprise the mashed potatoes were homemade, not powdered.
