“I started eating before I took a picture. I’m sorry. Phone doesn’t eat first. This place was really yum I got the smashburger and it was so great. And the fries were top tier. Pretty space as well, I got to people watch out the window. Service was slightly slow but who cares it’s a sit-down restaurant. Would recommend”

“Since I don't ski, I wanted to find a nice cafe where I could enjoy a cup of coffee and read a book while waiting for my skiing family members to come off the slopes. A local guide suggested that I try the Coffeebar Cafe which is at the very end of the Olympic Valley mall area. He said that the coffee was better than Starbucks. I went and he was right. The cappuccino was perfect. (I think the Starbucks coffee is a dark dark roast whereas Coffeebar is a medium dark roast) There are lots of tables and chairs on the outdoor patio as well as some comfortable tables inside the cafe. It was not a noisy gathering place. I read my book! Folks were masked. The menu includes soups, salads, and paninis. The patio faces the ski slopes so I think this is where we will all meet next time for lunch.”

“I had the Cobb salad with chicken and it was really nice and fresh! Took it to go and asked for extra lettuce and the ingredients separated out so I could build it myself, and I essentially got 2 salads worth!”

“The key here is the nachos. Add chicken or steak and it is a great value meal for two hungry adults or even our fam of four. They do have kids menu and take ikon pass mountain credits.”

Good:
- The overnight oats were so healthy and filling, huge portion sizes
- The latte was a great portion size, very tasty too
- Food came out super quickly, 5 minute wait or so
- Inside is very homey and cute!

Bad:
- Pricey for the amount of stuff you get, but not too dissimilar to SF prices

“This place is finally my fav spot as new manager Sarah had made Little Bear into a wonderful local spot! She is always present and works so hard to keep that busy line moving smooth! Best cold brew and all the employees are so sweet amd personable. Shout out to Barka and Vivian and Clara and Merisch and Michelle. Kind people who very hard with smiles and always so fun to be around.
Place is immaculate also which shows how much pride Sarah and crew have!!”

“My husband and I both agree that the scallops dish we had here was by far the best we have ever had. Absolutely incredible. Our server Luis was wonderful - friendly and happy to answer any questions we had about the meal (including interrogating the chef for us on their technique for cooking the mushrooms).”

“Book a reservation at Sylva. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is a fantastic staff, amazing menu and beautiful place. Every dish was beautifully executed and delivered more than it promised. The palette on their chef and the flavors their menus bring cannot be missed. I will be back here every time I’m in Tahoe from now on. Trust the chefs at Sylva and the staff will take care of the rest. They do get crowded so please make that reservation ahead of time. My favorite place in Tahoe City, hands down.”
