She was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. She made sure everything was perfect and made us feel very comfortable. Thank you, Azure, for such wonderful service!”

“At Squaw Valley. Very atmospheric, good food and good service. The fish and chips was huge and really good. I had the shepherds pie and it was tasty, but the lamb was really strong. All considered, we loved our lunch there.”

“Since I don't ski, I wanted to find a nice cafe where I could enjoy a cup of coffee and read a book while waiting for my skiing family members to come off the slopes. A local guide suggested that I try the Coffeebar Cafe which is at the very end of the Olympic Valley mall area. He said that the coffee was better than Starbucks. I went and he was right. The cappuccino was perfect. (I think the Starbucks coffee is a dark dark roast whereas Coffeebar is a medium dark roast) There are lots of tables and chairs on the outdoor patio as well as some comfortable tables inside the cafe. It was not a noisy gathering place. I read my book! Folks were masked. The menu includes soups, salads, and paninis. The patio faces the ski slopes so I think this is where we will all meet next time for lunch.”

“I had the Cobb salad with chicken and it was really nice and fresh! Took it to go and asked for extra lettuce and the ingredients separated out so I could build it myself, and I essentially got 2 salads worth!”

“This place is finally my fav spot as new manager Sarah had made Little Bear into a wonderful local spot! She is always present and works so hard to keep that busy line moving smooth! Best cold brew and all the employees are so sweet amd personable. Shout out to Barka and Vivian and Clara and Merisch and Michelle. Kind people who very hard with smiles and always so fun to be around.
Place is immaculate also which shows how much pride Sarah and crew have!!”

“We picked Six Peaks Grille for our anniversary dinner and had an incredible experience. The staff were friendly and attentive and went out of their way to make our evening special. The food was outstanding and came out quickly, and sitting on the patio made for a perfect setting. We had a lovely sunset, a nearby firepit, and an adjacent waterfall feature that provided peaceful ambient sound. For food, we especially enjoyed the Filet and Wagyu Tri-Tip. Each was some of the best we've ever had - tender, flavorful, and charred to perfection. The sides were also great and the desserts are worth making room for (we tried both the house made Tiramisu and Sorbet)! Thank you John, Cindy, and team - we will definitely be back!”

“Super cute cafe right next to the ski slopes at Everline! Not too busy on a Friday afternoon.

Good:
- The overnight oats were so healthy and filling, huge portion sizes
- The latte was a great portion size, very tasty too
- Food came out super quickly, 5 minute wait or so
- Inside is very homey and cute!

Bad:
- Pricey for the amount of stuff you get, but not too dissimilar to SF prices

Overall enjoyed going to this cafe and it was so cute and convenient for us as a group.”

“We did the four course tasting menu and every course was excellently prepared and exquisitely presented. There are choices for each course so each of us ordered different items so that we could taste everything on the menu. Such interesting items like fir needle ice cream. This is now out favorite restaurant in Truckee and look forward to visiting on future trips to the area. We had high expectations and Trokay exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Trokay!”
