Soggy avocado toast, not fresh avocado $10

My SO, the pups, and I were stoked we found Waterman's Landing next to Patton Beach. This is a cute coffee cafe/shop that serves up your favorite caffeine beverages and brunch items. The shop also has services like kayak rental, and per the barista, they're adding a motorboat service in the summer of 2024. My SO and I asked at the window in the back of the shop if we could bring our hounds in. The barista (I didn't catch her name) was super friendly and let us bring the pups in. DRINKS * Latte - good notes of espresso deliciousness * White Mocha Latte - I ordered this with their homemade almond milk, the only alternative available to dairy creamer/milk. I added some peppermint syrup to make it a peppermint white mocha. I enjoyed it because it wasn't overly sweet. The almond milk was very smooth and tasted delicious. We will return to grab a drink, even lunch, and visit during the summer to check out the kayak service. The dog-friendly beach right behind makes it so much easier with the pups.

If you want to eat your breakfast outdoors while enjoying views of Lake Tahoe, you can't find a better option near Truckee. The coffee was good, people were friendly, wait wasn't too bad, and food was yummy (though a bit pricey, like everything in that area). Due to the popularity of that particular spot, it's better for people watching then a quiet walk along the beach. You can even rent kayaks, paddle boards and other fun water equipment right there. Has a definite laidback surf vibe.

Awesome organic cafe, ON the only dog friendly beach in NLT. Also the best spot to rent paddle boards/kayaks/surfskis or outrigger canoes. Paddle accessories and clothes ??

After we ordered and sat down outside I saw the lady behind the counter go outside around back to get something. She came back with a jar of "avocado" spread. I ordered avocado toast. Sorry but avocado spread is not real avocado. It's a bunch of nasty preservatives. This is California and there is no excuse for this kind of quality. I threw mine away without eating it. Disgusting.

Can't believe this cute coffee shop/paddle board has been here for 12 years. We stay in Tahoe every year & I don't know how we've missed it. Stopped by for a drink on our way back to our room & were pleasantly surprised. Hubby got an Americano & I got a hot chocolate to share with our pup. The place is cute. They sell clothing, jewelry and food that looked yummy (pastry, burritos, etc). They are located right on the water. Dogs are welcome. There is a short paved path to the water with signage to explain the surroundings. Staff were very nice. We will definitely stop by & tell our friends & family!

Great for kayak/SUP rentals, great service. Good stock of gear for the day as well. Nice views and friendly people. Not really the clear water but lots of shoreline and boats to paddle amongst. The food and coffee were delicious. The burrito was top notch!!

Quick but delicious spot right on the shore with great views. Don't be fooled by the low key setting - they really put love into all their food from the breakfast sandwiches to the açaí bowl. They have a pretty tasty latte menu as well - really liked the golden latte.

Had the avocado toast, gluten-free toast! It was so good! Cute back patio area with a view of the water. We stumbled upon this find! Great place!

Lovely breakfast sandwiches. Liam was super helpful and professional in getting us set up with paddle boards. Will definitely be back.

Really good food if you like paddle boarding when your food is being made. Also 2 breakfast burritos and sandwich and 2 coffees was 67$. The coffees are served in a soup cup. Just a sad experience I need to go back on a slower day to see how it is normally operated. Total wait time was around 35 mins for all food.

We booked a two person kayak online and filled out our waivers online as well. When we showed up, the kayak was ready to go and we were on the water in minutes. Staff is super friendly and relaxed. Parking was easy, right in front of the shop. Will go again, it appears they also offered lessons on the equipment they rented.
