We’re on vacation in Carpinteria and we wanted to find healthier food options. We ordered the French dip, chicken corn chowder, and the carp salad with grilled chicken breast togo. Everything was excellent and very fresh tasting. The staff is very friendly too. We’ll definitely be back!

I love this place this special kitchen, it becomes addictive and customer service is thoughtful & caring- most importantly food is delicious!

Wish the special Salmon & Bagel plate made it back on menu, that’s my daughter’s favourite.

Great job guys!

Hoping to get the owners attention. I rode my bike all the way over here because google stated they were open. But they have a closed Monday sign. Change your hours on google!

Carp Kitchen is an absolute delight with wonderful, kind; knowlegable service and delicious food. The fritattas, salads and sandwiches are always wonderful. The blondies at the front counter are such a treat with one of Carp Kitchen's divine coffees. The to-go soups and sauces in the refrigerated case are inspired and mighty tasty, as are all of the shelf-stable groceries they carry. Highly recommended!

Whenever I'm in or passing through Carp I always stop here for the gluten free bakery goods, bread or muffins, and I have to say they are by far the best I've ever had in all of Santa Barbara county. They're always fresh, never doughy or sugary. I understand the owner is gluten free, so the extra care really comes through. I wish they opened a little earlier, but I guess I'll just have to stock up next time I'm in town. And, by the way, they have a nice assortment of GF products as well. Cheers.

I can't describe how much I love this place. It's so cute, the staff are SO kind, and the food is great. (I recommend the french dip!) If I could rate this 6 stars I would. If you are in Carp, definitely stop by, you'll thank me later.

I’ve been making monthly trips to Carpinteria for over a year. Thank goodness I discovered Carp Kitchen early on. It’s my first stop after I arrive to buy my favorite items, supplies and WINE! Deb is the owner/chef and she carries the best wines in town at the best prices. She knows the vineyard owners of many of the varietals, so that is a plus. She also has exceptional price points on exceptional wines. There is food to go, dining in on the back patio or a bistro seat at the front door. Everything I’ve had there is excellent, but I am addicted to the egg salad and her homemade aioli. Lastly, she hires well! The woman who will greet you and take your order is my favorite reason to go. Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!

We always hit this place up during our visits to Carp. The owner, Deb, is lovely, and it’s clear she really cares about her customers and products. The sandwiches and soups are delicious (they have gf bread!), as are all the baked goods (gf muffins!). We loved the split pea soup the other night. I always end up picking up other gourmet items to try when I’m back home, like oils, fancy chocolates, tinned fish. Love having this as our regular spot in town.
