From day one, I return a couple times a week. The meals, simple desserts to scones, coffee, wine, takes each person to a bit of awe and wow. Yes, a small space, yet they fill the dishes and take out with ease, and take such tlc with humans..I sense a feeling of being in another country, yet within our small city..

Lucky to have Mollie here in Carpinteria! The food is prepared daily in an open gourmet kitchen: pastas, sauces, soups, salads, breads, etc. Good quality, excellent customer service (thank you Cynthia) and a nice ambiance in the small dining room with additional seating outdoors. There are take out options as well. Portions are generous and take home containers are offered. My pasta with Bolognese was enough for two meals. The Focaccia and Tiramisu desert were delicious.

I was surprised and delighted by just how amazing the food here was! I got the veggie pasta and ate it until I was absolutely stuffed and still had half left over. Everything tasted very fresh, and the flavors were well balanced. The service was kind, warm and thoughtful and we felt very welcome here. I will certainly be back and will tell everyone I know to come here!

Everything was so fresh and the flavors were well balanced. The owner's love for the food and her craft shows through in all aspects of her quant restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Amazing food for a reasonable price. Ordee food in advance, even for dine in which will create great experience. We have family and celebratory dinners there. You can bring your own wine for a $15 corking fee or purchase a chianti for under $30. If you order in advance you can order Branzini, amazing chicken diners with either marinara sauce or capers, lemon and oil. Also love the pizza, minestrone soup, ceaser salad and lasagna. Always an amazing meal prepared by an amazing Chief, Mollie.

This is the BEST Italian food you will find in the Central coast area. A true gem in Carpinteria this restaurant offers 5 star entrees with a personal hometown feel. The layout and setup may not align with a traditional sit down restaurant but the food is next level. The Lasagna is a Must try. The best lasagna I've ever had and it's not even close, sorry grandma. Every dish is extremely fresh and delicious. Can not recommend more.

We take out and dine in and this is a gem for Carpinteria! Best lasagne ever with layers of spinach noodles and a beautiful sauce. It is not the typical heavy lasagne. The vodka sauce with noodles is delicious and the meatballs are perfect and again not heavy but light and tasty. Mollie, the owner is engaging and her son who hosted us last night is delightful. Oh and the bread! We tried not to eat it all but it’s impossible not to! The restaurant is very small but if you can’t get a seat it is worth taking home! With a long history in Montecito, we are truly lucky to have Mollie’s here!

This feels like a real, family owned restaurant in a small town in Italy. No frills—small place that focuses on the FOOD! Excellent gnocchi and husband had the lasagne. Both delicious. Wonderful service and owner is on site, creating fabulous dishes. Highly recommend!

The bread that comes with the soup is always raw. I took my child's godfather and his serving of bread was white and gooey. Standing in the line to order is very 3rd world. If the person behind you is buying a lot they will ignore you and go for the money. I wanted this place to be a success, but I will not be ignored and I am not going back. I have seen this line jumping in other countries. This is the U.S.A. not 3rd or old world country. If I am standing handing a $20. bill to the employee and they let some narcissistic rich person go in front of me....... that's it for me.Oh and the soup and bread are never ready when they open.I don't get that? If the food isn't ready are you really open? I wanted a healthy food option here in Carpinteria. I was going daily I wanted healthy food. They soup is generally blended served with raw bread. After that woman pushed in front of me and the employee did nothing even though he saw what was happening I decided that soup to drink with doughy bread is ridiculous and not an option for me.When Mollie was in Montecito it was all about good service and vegetarian food options.Alas, no more!
