Sweet old fashioned place... did was yummy, service was very attentive and efficient. I think some updating and cleaning would help, but i would go back... delicious chocolate cream pie!!!

Oh my word! This place is a treasure! Skip Santa Barbara and come straight here! This is a beautiful and authentic throw back to everything good about life. They simply do it right, including HOME MADE PIE with every meal!

Food is excellent and the atmosphere is great and the staff is quite friendly. The overall service was a little slow.

We went on Mothers day. The food was excellent. The service was a bit slow but that may have been because they were fairly busy.

Wjen we arrived, there were 2 other tables occupied. The waitress asked if we had a reservation abd i daid no. She acted put out by this reply. Then sat us in a walkway. We ordered the famous prime rib, however we were served NY steak. When she told us the chefwould have to grill it to reach a med temp, I should have been clued in. The server was inattentive most of the meal, and when she was bringing something, she plopped it onto the table. When I mentioned the cut issue, she blew me off. We DO NOT recommend this place. Stay away!

Americana at its finest! Staff is unbelievable. If it’s your first time. The staff is ready to walk you through your options. It’s the way service used to be when you would go out and dine!
From seafood to fried chicken to steak dinners. You won’t be disappointed. But leave room for their daily maid pies!!! With a scoop of ice cream with a warm slice of pie! I’ve died and gone to heaven.

The food was fantastic. The service was amazing. It feels very homey. It's almost like being a kid and going to grammas house for dinner. Perfectly prepared home style meals. I would recommend this wonderful establishment to anyone looking to have a great meal and leave full but also very happy, this is the place!

Absolutely fantastic! I felt like I was at home with grandma. The best bread I have ever eaten in America! (We have been traveling through America for 3 months) The pumpkin cake was also very delicious. The chief waitress is cool and really nice and gave us bread and butter to go because we liked it so much.

If you missed this restaurant please make an effort to find it. Wonderful charm inside and out. The staff are great and the food for the price is unmatchable due to the quality and care in preparing it. I hope if you travel through the area this becomes a destination of choice. It has become one of mine.

I love the home style ambiance of my dinner experience. The food is absolutely delicious. The rolls are hot. Butter is flavorful. Steak cooked to perfection. And then there's the pie... 10 out of 10.
