Delicious brunch and cocktails with attentive service. We had the eggs fungi and polenta with shrimp, both of which I recommend. The eggs, kale, mushrooms, and pistachio pesto were perfectly melded in the eggs fungi. The polenta is a great option for big eaters; we could not finish it. Cocktails (Bitterino Highball and Bloody Maria) were balanced and paired nicely with our brunch plates. Service was solid.

Very cheap food quality, the soup was too disgusting to eat. I regret I had lunch at this place.

Anything but a “gem” as the paid reviews state. This place was empty at 6pm (bad sign) the service was good but the food was bland and so overpriced that I think a trip though a drive through would have been a better overall experience. None of the dishes are served with sides the and “fried chicken special” had one limp piece of boneless chicken breast made to look like a real piece. Temp in the restaurant is HOT. They don’t run the ac and crack windows facing away from the coast so they are pointless. The locals in our group didn’t like it and neither did the visitors.

In a town where you’re seen as bad for telling the truth. Look for the real reviews!!

it’s a 4 out of 5 for Carpinteria based on the limited other options, but if it was in LA i’d probably give it a 3. reliably decent, but nothing exceptional

My favorite restaurant in this area. They have a great mix of fine dining, and affordable nutritious farm to table meals.

Also the staff are very attentive and take great pride in looking after customers.

What an amazing experience. It started w the hostess working w us to get a great table inside. The manager Chloe came over and welcomed our table of 4. We had amazing cocktails. Expresso Martini’s, Cosmo and Dirty Martini. We started w raw and BBQ oysters 10/10. Then roasted clams 10/10. Grilled artichoke 10/10. Pizza and Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe. Then roasted fish w corn polenta. Service was perfect. One of the best restaurants in Carpenteria. Must try!

We are so glad we found this little gem of a restaurant! The service was great and the food was incredible. We got the Fish piccata with halibut and asparagus and it was amazing.
For an appetizer we got the wood oven roasted little neck clams and it was so good!
This was probably our best dinner of our week in the Santa Barbara area! Definitely planning to come again the next time we are in town.

Absolutely appalling experience. I’ve never encountered worse service at a so-called “nice” restaurant. We came here for a 25th birthday celebration. Our IDs were taken and not returned for over 30 minutes, during which time we received zero service. No one checked on us, no one offered water, and no one gave us even the courtesy of an explanation or apology. We were simply ignored.
When we finally got our IDs back, the staff had the audacity to say, “The drinks will be ready when they’re ready” — an embarrassingly unprofessional and dismissive response. The complete lack of hospitality was shocking.
If you're looking to spend your evening being disrespected and ignored, this is the place. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. The only person who took initiative and took care of us in the end was Shauna, she was great.

Sorry to leave a bad review for this well loved restaurant in Carpinteria. When we first visited in 2021 we had an excellent experience and sadly now in July 2025, our experiencing significantly declined, especially regarding food. My family of four came in around 7:30 on a Wednesday evening and my son was excited to try the fried chicken. He was super disappointed when a small chicken (5 oz) thigh arrived, which was $27. We mentioned this to the server and she also agreed that it seemed like a very small portion, especially considering the price. The manager agreed to make us another piece of chicken to go, but did not do anything on the bill to accommodate. I ordered the fish piccata, which was decent, my daughter had a pizza which was below average and my husband had the smoked salmon which was fair. It seems with all the other good restaurants opening up in Carp, especially with the new Lindon Square, Little Dom‘s will really have to up their game to stay competitive.

relative to this small town, food was good. i order the fish fillet burger, the fish fillet itself is a lil under seasoned, the bun is soft and tender. and the pickled vegetables were good. but it overpowers the fish. good service and atmosphere tho, when I came in it was empty
