The perfect mix of old-school Italian w modern seafood restaurant. We had NYE reservations, which we, unfortunately, had to cancel and instead stopped in for an afternoon linner the next day. We ordered a selection of apps — grilled artichoke, roasted clams, and meatballs. While the artichoke initially came out cool and had to be sent back, the flavor of everything was outstanding — so much so that my husband who rarely eats clams outside a chowder was fighting me for equal shares. Incredible local wine selections alongside a solid cocktail and beer menu. Can’t wait to visit again.

I am originally from Louisiana and was visiting SB for Christmas so we went to Little Dom's and we were VERY impressed with how good the food was! I never would have expected to have such delicious gumbo on the West coast! The place was cute and everyone who worked there was very nice!

Visiting from Colorado, and once again, I picked the wrong restaurant. I'm sure Carpinteria has great Italian restaurants but this isn't one of them. I guess this restaurant has been around forever, but something's gone downhill. I ordered the squid ink pasta and it was such a disappointment. It was lacking in flavor, dry, and practically congealed... very little sauce. We also ordered the skirt steak, which was ok but also lacking in flavor. Maybe next time, we'll stick with the pizza. I heard it was good. The bill came to $110... I guess that would be fine if the food was good but it just wasn't, and the service was just adequate. Next time I will do more research before just picking a restaurant based on its supposed reputation.

Delicious brunch and cocktails with attentive service. We had the eggs fungi and polenta with shrimp, both of which I recommend. The eggs, kale, mushrooms, and pistachio pesto were perfectly melded in the eggs fungi. The polenta is a great option for big eaters; we could not finish it. Cocktails (Bitterino Highball and Bloody Maria) were balanced and paired nicely with our brunch plates. Service was solid.

Very cheap food quality, the soup was too disgusting to eat. I regret I had lunch at this place.

Anything but a “gem” as the paid reviews state. This place was empty at 6pm (bad sign) the service was good but the food was bland and so overpriced that I think a trip though a drive through would have been a better overall experience. None of the dishes are served with sides the and “fried chicken special” had one limp piece of boneless chicken breast made to look like a real piece. Temp in the restaurant is HOT. They don’t run the ac and crack windows facing away from the coast so they are pointless. The locals in our group didn’t like it and neither did the visitors.

In a town where you’re seen as bad for telling the truth. Look for the real reviews!!

it’s a 4 out of 5 for Carpinteria based on the limited other options, but if it was in LA i’d probably give it a 3. reliably decent, but nothing exceptional

My favorite restaurant in this area. They have a great mix of fine dining, and affordable nutritious farm to table meals.

Also the staff are very attentive and take great pride in looking after customers.

What an amazing experience. It started w the hostess working w us to get a great table inside. The manager Chloe came over and welcomed our table of 4. We had amazing cocktails. Expresso Martini’s, Cosmo and Dirty Martini. We started w raw and BBQ oysters 10/10. Then roasted clams 10/10. Grilled artichoke 10/10. Pizza and Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe. Then roasted fish w corn polenta. Service was perfect. One of the best restaurants in Carpenteria. Must try!

We are so glad we found this little gem of a restaurant! The service was great and the food was incredible. We got the Fish piccata with halibut and asparagus and it was amazing.
For an appetizer we got the wood oven roasted little neck clams and it was so good!
This was probably our best dinner of our week in the Santa Barbara area! Definitely planning to come again the next time we are in town.
