Nice place to sit back and enjoy a good cup of coffee. They have a large assortment of baked goods to complement your drink! Also the service has consistently been very friendly and helpful.

Love this trendy coffee shop! It's exactly the kind of space Carp needs. There's a ton of outdoor seating and they offer pastries, sandwiches, salads and a breakfast burrito.

Found this cute cafe while being on a road trip and stopped by for a quick bite and some coffee for breakfast and it hit the spot! We got two ham & cheese croissants with an iced cinnamon horchata latte and a hot coffee and ooooo that horchata latte was delishhhh! Luv'd it - recommend if in the area or even passing by on the freeway.

My mom worked in Carpinteria for over 25 years. I have my go to spots when I am in town but decided to give brass bird coffee a shot because of the ambiance and aesthetic. Not only is the cafe warm and inviting. The food and coffee is great. I got an iced vanilla late and a breakfast burrito. The salsa on the side (in the picture) fresh and spicy. I am from Ventura and they use beacon coffee's beans to make their coffee. Beacon is the best coffee in the 805 so I am not surprised brass birds coffee is up to par. The patio is gorgeous and a wonderful recommend on a sunny day.

First stop here. Good service. Very pleasant inside. Great patio. Plenty of seating. Good coffee. 3 stars for the food. Several promising offerings. We each had an egg bite and shared the espresso walnut scone. Both items must have been sprayed with no-taste. No salt and pepper was available and when asked about salsa we got a small cup of too hot, hot sauce. The scone could not have been more disappointing and maybe it's an espresso scone because there is espresso somewhere in the store. Would not serve this item to a friend. Recommendation: 1 Stop selling this item, 2 Get another recipe, 3 Get another cook.

Just moved to the area and came across Brass Bird. Loved the ambiance and the staff was very friendly- unfortunately I was a little bummed on this $7 Chocolate Croissant that the staff recommended. Hoping this one might've just been a dud.

I ordered Cappuccino. It is good, I would love to recommend. It's one of the coffee I like

Great staff, great food. I am happy they opened, and have a wonderful balance of outdoor areas. Never once has there been a lack of seating! The pasteries are very, very good, and they told me they have very friendly eco-policies in place for recycling and composting organic scraps. As a proffesional with lots of coffee meetings, this is the perfect spot.

My favorite local go-to coffee spot! Quality drinks, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. For drinks some of my favorites: matcha latte, chai latte, honey lavender latte, horchata cold brew. For food: breakfast sandwhich, croissants, sticky bun

A very much welcome fire pit for a brisk coastal morning, spacious outdoor seating, great ambience. Good drip coffee, and the croissant I had was delightful. Flaky on the outside, soft and layered on the inside, not too buttery. Service was friendly, quick, asked if I wanted a mug for here or a cup to go. Nice. Good amount of street parking (90min), also there is a small free lot belonging to the shop. Bike shop next door. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in Carp!

I found myself in Carpinteria in late November and needed to bring a pie to someone's home for Thanksgiving in Los Angeles. Having grown up in Texas, I really wanted to bring a pecan pie that wasn't cloyingly sweet. This bakery did not disappoint. It was a fantastic pie I'll be it, $45 but totally worth it and I got great praise for bringing in a slice of pecan love to the party.! I will definitely return.

What a find! Excellent coffee, breakfast and ambience. Plenty of tables on patio. Our family loved the Brass Bird!

I am a coffee snob and they passed my test with flying colors. The latte was not too hot, so the milk stayed sweet and no need for sugar. The foam made a super cute swan. The coffee drinks take a long time but are worth the wait. The food, on the other hand, comes out fast and they bring it to your table. I had the BLT with a lovely lemon mayo. My family had the chicken pesto sandwich which had a quality chicken breast on it. I also got a blueberry muffin because of other reviews I had read. It was good but a solid B. I will try another flavor next time. There is plenty of seating on the patio and limited seating inside. The little room inside looked appealing at first, but ended up being really loud, so if you need to work, outside is your best bet. However, there is very limited outlets, so bring your device fully charged. I will be going back!

I don't want to let this out.. cause this place will get more busy.. but we have been going here for about a year. I'm talking about at least once a month, not once has the bakery items have been the same! I just had the chocolate pudding cupcake, no pictures cause i devoured it. I asked, who makes these incredible desserts. It's an employee that makes it there!!! What the hell??? I feel like a customer in the Seinfeld soup nazi episode getting incredibly great bakery items without the threat! They have pop tart of the day. I also just got an almond joy cupcake. This is chocolate crack! Every time we go there we spend more money on the bakery items on top of the food. Who ever is making these bakery items needs to be known, and appreciated! The creativity. The perfection. It always tastes perfect! Brass bird is a great cafe with great service, great food,,, great drinks,, but the highlight is definitely the bakery items!!!
