Reynaldo's Mexican panaderina, is delicious, authentic, and worth it
I definitely recommend this panaderina when your in the mood for fantastic Mexican bread. They also have a small selection of Mexican take out food and menudo on the weekends. Enjoy my brothers and sisters, and feed your food souls: God bless

Carpinteria has long been a favorite stop on our coastal roadtrips and now Reynaldo’s will be added to “the must stop” list when in town. While we can only speak for their breakfast burritos (and cookies), they are phenomenal. Dense and well made, but not so outrageously large that they fall apart or can’t be eaten in one meal. Fresh ingredients, made to order, and absolutely delicious. I’ll be thinking about the “Joe’s Favorite” w chicken chili verde for many mornings to come. No photos, for once the camera didn’t eat first.

Was a lot better on paper than in person. Really expensive for the portion sizes.

Reynaldo’s Bakery is one of our go-to spots in Carpinteria. My wife and I come here all the time because the food is affordable, but never feels cheap. Everything is fresh and made with care. The baked goods in particular are the real standout. You walk in and the smell alone sells you. From conchas to cookies to cakes, it’s all good.
We recently ordered a custom cake and cupcakes for our daughter’s first birthday. We showed them a few pictures and they absolutely nailed it. It looked exactly like what we had in mind, and somehow still came in at a super reasonable price. They even delivered it to us on the day of the party and everything arrived perfectly.
This place has that family-run feel that’s getting harder to find. Friendly service, great food, and prices that make you want to keep coming back. If you’re looking for a bakery that actually cares about what they make, Reynaldo’s is it.

A sign inside their business advertised chai tea late. When I tried to order at the bakery counter, the young lady made me feel dumb by acting rude. The bakery country doesn't sell tea, but that wasn't clear.

Over the course of several days I tried the breakfast quesadilla, several combinations of breakfast burritos and the almond croissant. Everything was phenomenal and at a fair price! The employees were always friendly each visit. The ingredients tasted fresh and they have countless options for whatever you're in the mood for. This place is a must visit when in Carpinteria.

Dried out, broken into a million pieces stale pastry. No thanks. 4.5 rating!! Hell no
Best tamales period. Anytime I come close to Carpinteria, we stop. I've been purchasing tamales here for over 20 years and hope to for 20 more.
